Prime Minister Narendra Modi
uncovered the 800 kg, Bhagavad Gita.
He revealed this unique World’s Biggest Gita made by ISKCON followers. It covers over 2.8 meters and weighs around 800 kg. The prime minister said it is an exceptional occurrence to reveal this beautiful Bhagavad Gita through Addressing the audience.
He said this separate book would become a symbol of India’s knowledge of the world.
Prime Minister revered the works of Srila Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada in increasing global information of that epic.
Prime minister Narendra Modi said that the Bhagavad Gita can always guide us when we were facing difficulty in life. Remembering a well-known verse from the Gita, he said that some spiritual force is perpetual with us as we fight with the villains of humankind.
He told the Gita motivates everyone to help the people and the community. He said that Indian forces and experience offer resolutions to many difficulties undergone by humankind.

Iv been very deep into spirituality for about 15 years, I liked eastern spirituality so of corse i heard of the Gita for a decade, I read it and… it really did not make a impact on me, I honestly did not know why so many people liked it. I heard swamp sarvapriananda break it down in a lecture and it floored me. The act of dedicating one’s actions to god (washing dishes, going to work, cooking) as a service to the lord (karma yoga) has changed my life. Couples with love and devotion practices (Bhakti) as well as my concentration on the lord (meditation/raja) and also my study of Vedanta (Janna) it has transformed my life. I just didn’t fully understand the Gita but I’m so glad I stayed it with ❤️

The pain is there, but the suffering is relative, based on how much we identify ourselves with the body and less with the Self. A vietnmese monk died by self-immolation without complaining, yet, we scream like babies even for a modarate molar tooth pain. Tons of evidence has been documented regarding this matter. So yes, the pain is real, but the suffering depends on how you handle it.

Please forgive me for saying this: Mahabharata happened hundreds and hundreds of millions years ago, if it had happened on this earth. Mahabharata never happened at all in 3139 BC [My mind stops for a moment, when I hear people saying this year as the year of Mahabharata and feel a great pain]. 3139 BC for the history-puffs is relatively a very recent time in the civilizations age. 3139 BC was attributed to the Mahabharata period by the so-called Western people who took over our country in the middle of the 19th century. Western people were shocked to see the ancient nature of Bharat's heritage and its civilization when they stumbled upon our old civilization when they dug up. They could not accept the fact that something could be older than their own European civilization and old structures like Stonehenge. Therefore, they deliberately placed the age of Bharat's culture at about 1,500 B.C.[They did another great most grossly deliberate disservice to the Bharat when they said Aryans invaded Harappan and Indus Valley around 1500 B.C. and destroyed it. Indian archeologists in the beginning of the 20th Century deduced the age of Mahabharata from what was told by the Western people regarding the Indus Valley age.
Yesterday, there was a news item that appeared about the sale in auction of a sword that fetched $17 million. The sword was one of the millions and millions items "collected" during the 18th-19th centuries. Bhagawan Shri Mahavishnu did not come in the avataar of Sri Krishna and living in India during 3139. Contemporaneously, Mesopotamian and Egyptian cultures and civilizations were supposed to have attained maturity.
Oceanographic excavations done at Dwarka dated the sunken city at about 32,000 B.C. Even this alone puts the Maharabharata date at a much earlier date. From certain cosmic constellations mentioned in Maharabharata, an IITian-turned-historian calculated Mahabharata age to be around 75,000 BC. The rotations of Cosmic constellations in my limited knowledge should be repeating itself over a certain cycle like how according to ancient mathematics, 60 years period keeps repeating. Therefore, the cosmic constellations mentioned in Mahabharata must have happened many times in the Universe's age.

Righteous vs unrighteousness? How do you draw a line from a spiritual view?
Gita initially starts outside yourself, then slowly and eventually starts talking to you from inside yourself. The little voice gets ignited, and you hear the inner voice in the silence of meditation, in the quite of the night, in deep silence. the Gita is the Voice. The Voice is in the Silence. Out of that SIlence, its starts to speak to you. Initially you doubt what it is saying to you, it seems confusing, too simple. sounds like a mixture of mind noise and sensible caring voice. It is You who choses what to listen to, the rock music or the mozart. the mind or the consciousness within. when the mind is quite, or busy, you can easily and more clearly hear the voice so blissfully almost singing lullaby's to you. so sweet, so gentle, so subtle, yet so beautiful, not forceful at all. the choice is still yours to chose from. it is always there playing in the background, but you cannot hear it, because u choose to hear the noisy mind which speaks a language of fear, hatred, jealousy, lust & greed. mind is always scaring you into fight or flight. desires. more than you need. worry and anxiety. consciousness is more gentle, so much more gentle. it tells you all is okay. no need to worry, all will be okay, even when everything is falling and failing, and sickness and death seem so real. consciousness is like a soft voice of love like a gentle scarf around your neck. a warm and tender hand on your shoulders. a gentle cup of herbal tea. never harsh. never demanding. never scaring you. always there, but never in front like the mind. like a quite friend who listens more than says do this, do that, its bad, if you don't do this. get up and fight them, you going to lose. this is the mind, never your consciousness. beware. it is the same song sung on the battlefield that starts singing in your head, if you chose to listen, but only you can hear it, while everyone has the chance to hear it. it's the most comforting, soothing sounds, words u will ever hear. and it never changes its tune. it says that very same thing over and over again. it doesn't try to convince in sneaky, weird, scary ways. if you are afraid, then know that the mind had a hand in it. you are in the middle. consciousness is you, conscience one one side, mind on one side.
if it doesn't feel right, don't go there. dont listen to it. stay simple even if you have to lose materially. stay truth to your conscience. listen to it. lose the world, not your truth, peace, blissful nature. go for simplicity. choose truth

It has made more than a speck of change in me. If you would prefer to ignore that fact, this will explain how you manage to remain in your partial understanding, which of course is how things are with you. Just as water cannot rise above whatever level it rises to, without a change of circumstance, understanding can only rise to the level that it does, without a change of circumstance. I tell you, as a fact for myself, I do not maintain any "supernatural" commitments whatsoever about what the Gita says. It is not necessary to do so in the majority of its main ideas. Notions like the atman, or karma, or the yogas, or the gunas have an explanatory luminescence for the experience of consciousness, whether one ascribes to any "supernatural" aspect or not. This is what I would have answered to the professor who had a student as, "Is this real?" The notion of karma has a great and transformative explanatory power in life as we live it right now, regardless whether one believes in reincarnation from life to life. The anti-spirituality of intolerant monotheism (the Torah, the Bible, the Quran) are radically different from the Gita, whatever the person who clings to them. Intolerant monotheism explicitly says there is only one route to salvation, and those who follow some other path are lost and doomed. The Gita acknowledges multiples routes to liberation and encourages people to find one that best suits them. When people are GENUINELY more at peace with themselves and the world, they are less likely to harm others and the world and are more empowered to help others and the world--this is the case, whatever one's belief system. Having to feel superior to others is a sign of not being at peace, and it is why industrialized "civilization" arose on the back of slavery, racism, genocide, and religious bigotry.

A small suggestion for Mata is pls don't refer Bhagavad-Gita as Bible of Hindus. Both are different and applied differently. Bible is used to control the follower to follow the religion preached. So will distort the value and nobleness of Bhagavad-Gita.

To say that because you do not "fully" understand (which is impossible) is a reason not to understand at all is, at best, an only partial understanding that could benefit from some further expansion of that partial knowledge. It will happen in time.
