    i have always loved swimming, but as a saudi arabian woman it was just a dream, couldnt swim in the beach or the pool because there are no gyms for women, i was jealous of men .. or even other women around the world, i love swimming so much. even tho i dont even know how to float, BUT i finally found a place with a pool. and a great person willing to teach me i will start next month! so excited to achieve one of my dreams 😊

    That’s exactly how I feel when I run. Mostly everybody says”Oh I hate running, running sucks it’s just so tiring and bla bla bla,” but when I run, I feel exactly what you feel when you swim, except no water 😂, but air instead. I feel peace, and everything, I just forget all drama rounding my life, and run. This vid inspired me.

    • @dillonbritt4767

    • @Maxwaehrens
      @Maxwaehrens 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dillonbritt4767 slow down when it gets really hot and then you can still enjoy running. However, if you do put in the work when it's hot then you'll be that much better when we get to the colder season.

    When she said she didn't choose swim, swim chose her, that really hit me. I do swim, and I'm extremely good at it. But I hate it so much. It's just not enjoyable for me anymore. Practice is a drag, meets are a drag, everything's just a drag. I would definitely quit if I was a little worse, but I feel like I'd be letting so many people down if I do.

      I agree, I would slam my shins against the edge of the wall I bet. I banged my knee so hard against the wall when climbing up the ladder! Because you know how you have to use more strength in the water? I didn't realise I was on my last step on the ladder so my knee went straight out of the water into the edge of the wall!

    Omg Natalie, I hear u girl. I just have to say I tried to stop swimming this year but all my mind was saying was I can't wait till swim starts up again. When I am in the water I feel no one else around me, nothing else matters but my thoughts. I can't give up swimming. It has been a part of me since I was born, I just discovered it 5 years ago. When I am in the water I feel one with it. my mind flows within it. You probably aren't going to see this comment but, Natalie, you are my hero. You inspire me to be a better person and a better swimmer. If I ever meet you in real life, teach me how to master my flip turns please as a mentor. I can't wait 'til the pool opens today and I can get my legs kicking again. I will never give up on what I can believe in. Never become a land breather

    i swim, most probably far from a perfect technique and relatively to competitive swimmers, very slow.... but i beat the majority in one very important thing, its the passion of being in the water.... and you will feel it much more, that feeling at peace, calmness, hearing your own heartbeat, when you freedive and your down 30, 40m on a single breath

    I enjoy swimming casually. The gruelling training for competition and the anxiety building up to the race was no fun at all. Eight years of agony, done with it.

    OMG SHES AWESOME, HER MUSCLES AHHHHHH >_<
    I have a 50 yard swim test I gotta pass and I’m a beginner who can’t afford classes. Any tips? My stamina is meh and I’m terrible at moving both my feet and arms at the same time properly :))))))
