That air horn thing. Drove me nuts. All I could hear through my headphones. I am surprised someone did not take that thing off that kid and stand on it. However, the rugby - great to see another great game between two great teams.

Two things I got from this game,
1. A lot of handling errors, but It was typically Wellington weather. The Wellington 1st XV comp isn’t that strong compared to the UC, Super 8 & Auckland 1A.
2. 1st XV crowd was bigger than the NPC game later that day. Doesn’t that tell you something of where our great domestic competition has gone.

@@bniu1526 I’m pretty sure you can’t buy the rights to a 1st XV super 8 tournament it’s a non professional competition, anyone can film it.
I disagree. Silverstream missed out on Final 4 on a technicality after drawing 17 all with Napier Boys who nearly won the NZ title vs HBHS. Remeber St Pats Town beat Silverstream on July 27th! Preseason games mean nothing.
@@andrewcrawford2998 yeah that game was good, but SPC had the advantage having a Wellington ref. The calls were consistently but you could tell there was an unconscious bias towards pats, I live in Wellington and I must say that the rugby is very poor, schools that come down here smash us all the time.
