Kate Marilley and Isabella Esler play Delia and Lydia, respectively, in the tour cast of Beetlejuice the Musical! This audio was taken during a matinee performance in San Francisco.
I just love Kate's take on Delia. One of the merch sellers asked her if she was doing a Moira Rose (Catherine O Hara's other character) impression. Kate explains it wasn't at first but the Moira-ish voice grew on her so she stuck with it.
I wasn’t so sure about Isabella at first but oh my god the tour cast is amazing! They couldn’t have picked anyone better for Lydia than Isabella! I’m fact I think she’s my favorite variation so far. I only have Nevada Riley’s variation left to listen to and no doubt she’ll blow me away too.
Not only is Kate a great delia (from what I heard here), but she also has a wonderful understudy in Juliane, who I was lucky enough to see in Charlotte.
