2024 is Make or Break for Bryce Young

- The Carolina Panthers are a team that is desperate to improve. More than the obvious reason of being the worst team in the National Football League, so many resources have been invested into Bryce Young and at some point we gotta have the expectations put in front of him to take a leap. This leap doesnt need to be ground breaking but just improvement none the less.

I don't think its boom or bust. I think its good or bust. If Bryce breaks 3500 passing yards with 20+ TD's and less than 15 ints he gets a pass for 2023 imo. I think he will do much better than that but still.

Yeah I think good or bust is a great way of putting it. Just enough improvement to feel confident in making a wildcard push the following year.

He is too hands on and those people tend to not be rational in their decisons.

I agree that it should be at least year three. But with the context of an organization that is on the brink of becoming the 2020s version of the Browns I worry they will become impatient for an undersized QB with a solid arm.
@@RushTheFieldShow well if they are smart parcells philosophy which is wait 3 years before making a judgment especially because this is tepper's Guy so if he gives up on Bryce Young after only a year or two then tepper would need to step down.

I feel bad for bryce hes a good qb but in the literal worst possible situation
I think this year is much much improved. Thats why the expectations are shifting a bit more for a #1 overall pick.

Very very true. I think being a top 5 pick and being much improved offensively will still be seen as successful. 2025 is LOADED defensively too.

If you speaking from the perspective of Carolina. Sure - If they trade Young it'd be the happiest day of his life. What an awful franchise.
I know people would want to give him a chance elsewhere, just not sure what their expectations have been.

so the context, Geno's career was DEAD in the water before that breakout year to be MID. Same can be said about Baker.
