The WP casts great and catches smallmouth and largemouth very well. Before I bought one, I remember thinking it was a stupid gimmick lure; but a friend had recommended it. After 100's of bass, I now always carry one in my bag. They don't always catch, but I've had many nights where they were the only lure to bring finicky fish up, and other nights when things slowed down, the Plopper got things going again. Very good lure!
The whopper plopper is easily one of my favorite baits. Ive seen fish come from all directions looking for the plop. Get eratic with the movement for that aggrevated reaction bite.
Very cool watching the underwater action!!!! We fish the Indian Ocean off the coast of Perth, Western Australia!!! I wonder if we trolled it behind our boat what we might catch?? Take care and tight lines guys!!!!!
I have a green 90 and a black 100. I love both. Have the best luck with the 90. Only things are the rear hook gets caught on the prop sometimes and I miss more fish than I do with a buss bait. Still catch more bass with these than anything else though. I love how incredibly sharp the hooks are.
The slowdown parts sound like a horse “Clip-clopping” on a thin layer of water. Super cool!! I just bought a 10 pack for 16.29 US from China. The fish don’t care if it’s name brand lures They’re biting. 😎 super excited to use them!!
@@OscarRodriguez-ln2om they work pretty well, haven’t caught anything with them yet. And one the back fin came loose from the spinning shaft. Nothing a few drops of hot glue can’t fix.
Ufcguru Official you know what, that's actually a great idea! That hook might even help me lose less fish when they bite the plopper. They've been throwing the lure with trebles
Great lure! Gets bit!! Didn't believe in it when it first came out, but it's a sweet lure! I've caught fish on every size and every color I've tried. Be warned though, the hook up to land ratio is about 50/50. You'll get a lot of fish throwing the lure or shaking it off
Shook one of these out of a tree , almost lost a 20 dollar lure and got this out of it too , very nice, i have been out here slaying them in shallows here on Lake Erie off the Detroit river mouth
Very cool. Yes, the Whopper Plopper is an effective bait for a range of species across the globe. Where abouts are you located in Ireland? How big do the pike get in your fisheries?
President cancel I bought whopper propper, showed that to Largemouth bass in Japan. Largemouth bass in Japan never bite whopper propper. it's Sheeps Head Largemouth bass. Phone call, Kingdom in England.
It can depending on their mood but the sound and vibration is also a powerful attractant at times. This bait has a proven track record or producing big time around the country.
@@watchcloak it is a very effective lure on many species. But of course the water has to be warm enough for topwater strikes, it is not a cold water lure.

Nailed it! Great testimony James. Appreciate you taking the time to add it here.
This is so peaceful

Just purchased the smaller black one from sports store. Using this evening / night 1st time 😎👌

how did it go
I just got 2 whopper ploppers and can't wait to use them
Have loved them ever since I first threw one . I just caught my pb on it the other day. Definitely going to be buying more

Excelente demostración, después de ver esté video lo seguiré usando.

How did they work out for you?

That sound make me so calm..😽
I play this on repeat while I sleep.
Un leurre fantastique par ces fortes chaleurs
Put a #VMC feathered J hook on the back, not only do you get more bites but short strikes that J hook keeps em pinned.
Ufcguru Official you know what, that's actually a great idea! That hook might even help me lose less fish when they bite the plopper. They've been throwing the lure with trebles
Jeremiah Giles trust me, it works great!
Got any link for such a hook? Can only find blank ones.
Woooooow Amazing nice, and beautiful... Oke my friends thank to SHARING. Good LUCK...👍🙏

Jeremiah Giles I've never lost a single fish on one. That's part of the reason I love them and the big girls wanna eat it too
That's why we call our hobby fishing, and not
sure catching.
Way more fun when you don't no if you can catch and landing it.
Happens to me too. But I still catch a lot.
I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and the rear hook getting caught in the spinner now and then. Otherwise its amazing.

Great video Well done I subscribed to your channel
Thanks you for this
Went out fishing for pike on a lake in Ireland and caught a few pike using a plopper, it drove them nuts 😂
going to try them in the sea this evening

Fortunately the fishes do not have HD vision, otherwise, no one artificial would work.
This is ASMR
Assume you're referring to Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response?
@@Wired2Fish yep, I love the sound.
I saw this one guy changing these giant catfish with them
Yeah, us too. A Whopper Plopper or similar style topwater propbait. Insane footage!
I wonder if you could use them for flats if you used a sinker and let it swim in swift water.
@@albertnothnagel9141 maybe
@@Wired2Fish it was crazy cause this guy would cast and these monster catfish would bait and run I’m thinking of ordering one any suggestions colors??
Mantap..🤝🙏
Still have yet to get a bite on this.
rob s fish it like a frog man with intermittent pauses.
Or fish it like a popper
Have ya'll tried the new 75 size?
I wish my country don't sell cheap whopper plopper that doesn't make sound at all. Damn TCE Tackles and all..
This thing is so unnatural looking compared to other topwaters. I don't understand how it pisses bass off so much.
Last First the noise for sure I’ve been doing good lately on the 130 in bone color would definitely recommend that color
A lot of lures looks unnatural, still are very effective.
Where can i buy it bro?
Amazon
My plopper 75 tends to roll over as I'm reeling steady could anyone please tell me what the problem is or how to fix thanks
What line are you using
It can be a production issue i had the same with some of them.. the important thing is the paddle form and weight balance
@@0nurc okay what do u mean by weight balance tho like if the head or tail is slightly tilted or what
You can try to add a rolling swivel to your line.
can this lure use to snakehead?
Our staff doesn't have experience fishing for snakeheads but from what we hear, they like the Whopper Plopper and other aggressive topwater baits.
its very good. i like to have one
One of the best lures for snakeheads, but over heavy cover use just a common single hook
buzz bait, both work excellent here in Thailand.
Makes no sense to me why fish find it so tasty
keren juga kalo dilihat dari bawah..👍👍

What length is the Whopper Plopper 110?
It's 4 3/8 inches long.
How do these not scare away fish with the loud propeller noises it makes?
It can depending on their mood but the sound and vibration is also a powerful attractant at times. This bait has a proven track record or producing big time around the country.
@@Wired2Fish cool, thanks. I used one for the first time yesterday but didn't get any bites or anything with it, which made me wonder.
@@watchcloak it is a very effective lure on many species. But of course the water has to be warm enough for topwater strikes, it is not a cold water lure.
I have to admit, if I was a bass I would destroy that thing
Why isn’t this lure made in the United States? Why is it made in China? I’ll never buy one.
steelerfaninerie its a piece of plastic with hooks im glad its made in china I don't want to spend 2x more for something I could lose pretty easy.
You be surprise, 90% of everything in your house hold even the clothe on your back. Guess where they're from????
your cutting yourself short.
Idgaf about non of that im just gonna buy it for the bubble sound
