Great advice and explanation about Dacron strings on fiberglass bows! I enjoyed your video, Ronald. Always learning. Thank you for sharing; enjoy your great gear 🙂😎👍🏹
@@DIYSportsman the string doesn't scrape my index finger at all. I used to shoot without the tape for several years, until the event where my nock set came loose and undetected. That's when I realized I needed a failsafe to prevent unexpected frustration.
@bambooarchery So I've found out that when the string hits my index finger it means my drawing wrist was not in a good enough position with my wrist turned too far inward. When I rotate the wrist outward more, the index clears the string pain free.
@@DIYSportsman sounds like you're doing it wrong still. Your wrist should be relaxed, neither turning in or out, just straight and relaxed. Instead it should twist clockwise more (for right handed). Your index finger should not cross the string even before the release.
I use a cross feet stance opposite of open stance. I feel it give a little bit extra pulling power like 5 percent. What are your thoughts about crossing your feet instead of open?

Another excellent video. Thank you.
Dang. What a great way to blind nocking
I add felt as separator in the quivers ☺️
Interesting. I had assumed the tape over the nock set was to help protect your index finger from the serving scraping it on release without a glove.

@@jasontsang2232 tried that many years ago with mixed result. Abandoned it
@@bambooarchery Great video for your audience to discuss open, parallel and crossed feet stance.
