    Who made this?
    The ruler newspaper trick doesn't exactly look interesting when you do it that way. It makes it look like simply putting a weight on a ruler will help you to break it, which is obvious.
    The interesting part is if you take a single page of the newspaper and unfold it all the way, Then place that one page on the ruler. It will still break.
    The reason is because there is so much surface area on the paper that the atmospheric pressure will hold the newspaper, and therefore the ruler, in place.
