Why were the DC input and DC output terminals ignored? They allow direct connection for the solar array or wind turbine to this inverter/charger, which can be an advantage if properly managed.
I hope this helps if you take 2- 120 volt inverters and hook each up to battery power it would short out if you try to power something 220 volts AC because the phase is the same it needs a gap between the two phases to work so they call it split phase we all know that it works but they have diodes to stop power feed back and stop the short circuit so you can power something AC with DC battery power.
McCuneWindandSolar yes the ones i have put out a lot cleaner waveform . You can do an easy test with a electric fan, They run a lot more quieter on HF inverters.

the HP-PV Series are nice yes there making some nice gear in China now. I Should be getting one for the test bench soon.
I like it because of Split phase, But I like the one's you have better. may now have Split phase but crazy people like me have ways a round that.
