Yes, I’ve been an Event Planner over 8 years . I went out and spent 21,000 on remodeling and paint, advertising, rent, utilities etc. I was lied to, saying the building was grandfathered and don’t need zoning.. Well I lost it all in 10 months. Wonderful info! I made a list of city officials I need to call this week. I want to find out the different types of zoning in my area and what is allowed. I am also planning on speaking to the bank about being pre approved for a loan before I even start to look at potential venues. I feel like I don’t know where to start in a lot of ways, but I guess I have that game plan that will keep me busy enough for this week. I want to learn learn learn and I know your channel is an amazing place for that!

This is how I feel as well. It would be nice of someone will tell you the beginning steps on what to do first before getting the business. Like, get your llc/dba, get a business checking/savings etc so we'd already have that behind us. I can't find a video out that goes over the legalities and paperwork side of it
Don't be afraid! Just absorb all the information you can and you will be fine. If there are hiccups along the way don't get discouraged, just learn from it and move on. Just know it takes time to build a business, list out your short and long term goals, and build an awesome team. I always tell me clients to utilize tools that will take some of the task off of your plate, start with a CRM it will do wonders for your company. Go for it Sis!

Take your time! Do your research and visit your local zoning office to get more info on liquor license, noise ordnances, etc. Set yourself up for success by being informed! I'm going to be honest with you, there will be bumps along the way, don't get discouraged, shake it off and grow from whatever it is and BE GREAT! You got this, but take it slow!
