I remember these as a kid growing up north of Kastrup (CPH) they would fly over our house on their way to Norway to Oslo or Bergen. They were incredibly noisy compared to other planes post 2000s
Thanks for your very interesting comments! In my young days, we lived near Northolt, West London, and I would watch Constellations, Dakotas, Vikings and Ansons coming and going. This was before Heathrow existed, so I'm talking about the early 1950s. Happy plane-spotting days!
You're very welcome! One of my all-time favourites also. The episode list is showing on Discovery's website, but there is no live link which is a great shame. I'll dig out the rest of my old VHS episodes - 747-400, Dornier 328, Challenger 604, and last but not least, Concorde.
The DC-8 was built like a tank. The DC-9 was a classic. The DC-10 was an unflightworthy shitbox that violated every precept of fail-safe redundant design
Not every day was a six sector day, most were three, four or five. And that little dark blue one when the guy started on about second hand jets? That was one of mine.
Great stuff, thank you! As a Swede, I’m sad to see the end of SAS as we know it after maaany years of financial struggle.
You're welcome!

Thank you for uploading……I loved this programme and I’m so happy to see it again 👍🏻

Wrong on so many levels
