you should make yourself a mortar and pestle in your kitchen so you can pulverize your medicines and make a poultice. i bet being able to paste the poultice over the irritated area and then potentially cover the poultice with the cloth soaked in the medicine? just thinking out loud. i can't remember if you have a kitchen sized mortar and pestle or not.
You can slow down some to recover it's not like youtube is going to yell at you for going slower to heal.

You should look into how much the license is to distill rice wine in your area. You could then distill it into rice wine vinegar and use that for cleaning / disinfecting. If the license and a small still are inexpensive enough it might be worth it and would give you something new content wise as well.
