Really, really enjoy your game. Your review and how you attempt to hold the line in the face of the German push is something I really pay attention too. Thank you for doing this.

I enjoy making these. I'm not doing well with the Axis forces and it will only get worse as I reach April through the end of '42.

Lesser men would have given up (very few of these games reach 1943). Love your content and will watch it to the end. Thank you.

5:45 If you want to add more men to a unit, you always want that unit on or adjacent to a depot that has a good amount of stored supplies. Front line depots sometimes do and sometimes don't. A lot depends on the level of activity in the area. You really wouldn't want a lot of manpower to be fed to you some distance from a well stocked depot because manpower like all supplies require trucks. You don't want to be breaking or losing a lot of trucks that are traveling long distances to deliver men to the front. Better to move the whole unit back next to this depot where it costs zero trucks. Remember that any unit receiving supplies 3 hexes or less from a depot use horses and not trucks to resupply so you save vehicles this way.

I'm not an expert in this game but I think I agree with your pretty defensive posture it looks like the only way you can deal decent casualties to him is from defensive battles and counterattacks. His supply lines in the south are pretty stretched out and the further forward he goes the more exhausted he will get might be possible in the south to try shape a encirclement with an elastic defense let him push the middle and such when he gets to Stalingrad or whatever town you most elite units with the air force can swing in from the flanks. But i dont know to Much about the game or your situation but i leave it in your capable hands comrade

7:05 Look at the top right of your screen with naval transport mode (F3) selected. See how it says Shipping T33 C112. That is your transport capacity. Each unit has a Transport Cost if you look at unit details. It has two numbers separated by a slash and the first one is what matters. You can basically move 33,000 worth of troop/unit transport costs. Since you have such small units to evacuate, you should be able to get all of them out. A typical full strength rifle division of 12k might run you 2,500.

I never noticed that. Thank you.

I wonder why the unit(s) sitting on two lvl 4 depots are refitting fast. Only the great beyond can reveal this mystery.

lol my frustration is why those two do and the others across the map don't. Or I guess better worded as how to really micromanage that aspect of the game in the way I want. Too many times I get units that don't then two armies will get 20,000 men each. I've played with depot level and priority level and it still seems a bit random.

@@kevinmilligan917 I imagine proximity to depots have a big effect on it. Also, don't be a man, read the manual!
