I shoot the Mathews vxr 28 it’s hands down the best hunting bow for tree stand and hunting blinds I opted out of buying the new Mathews v3 27 just didn’t like the string angle compared to the vxr 28 but a real nice bow stupid quite and dead in the hand just like the vxr is I’ll see what Mathews comes out with for 2022 and if I don’t like what they got I might think about the v3 but rite now best bow is the vxr 28
@@creekkings only couple hogs in Texas when I visited my Uncle, and a javalina in Arizona. The previous owner killed an 8 point buck in New Jersey. So this bow been around
Waiting for my RX5 to come in!!!! I thought the draw cycle was a lot better personally on the 5 then the 4, but hey! We all have our own opinions and what feels better for us and that's what is most important!
@@creekkings actually canceled my order it wouldn't come in until August but my archery shop I went to for years had it and I happened to be in town so I just picked it up now I can't wait to go shoot it more at home. 6" Bee stinger stabilizer, QAD rest, Black Gold 7 pin rest, nose button. Gold tip arrows at 400 grains at 65 lbs 28" draw. Deer won't stand a chance!
Been waiting to see a video like this since it’s not always easy to get out and shoot the new bows. Glad to see an honest review. I’ve been wanting to shoot the new hoyts but I don’t know if I could ever let my rx4 go. Great video guys. Looking forward to the next one
Awesome video. There’s no more RX4s left around me. I found one that was exactly like yours but it didn’t last long on the shelf. I liked how quiet my brother’s RX5 was, and after shooting it more it got a little bit smoother in the draw, I don’t know if it just needed broke in, but there is definitely a difference from when we first got it. Though the weight doesn’t matter as much to me, would be nice if Hoyt made them a little lighter next year. Now I got a decision to make, get the 5 or wait till next year.
Thanks man! Tough decision, honestly in our opinion you can't go wrong. The RX5 is still a beast of a bow.... BUT Hoyt tends to keep grinding out these insane bows every year so you never know next years bow could be something totally insane. Keep us updated on your decision!
I have the axius ultra bone collector 31 inch draw and I love it…..but I also bought the rx5 ultra bone collector all black except the strings and limb graphics and it’s insanely awesome
I have a unicorn not many have mine. I have an RX4 Ultra with turbo cams. So i get the longest axle to axle with the most aggressive cams. Its smoking fast.

The Ventum 33 is better than both. Truth. Edit: I shoot the RX1 Ultra and have a Mathews V3 as my backup.
