This was sooooooo good . Although I feel so far behind at 41, it is not too late for me to make changes and make moves for my future . Thank you for this !!
Same here. It happened at 47. I had no idea something like this was coming. From where my bank account was, my stocks...I'm still having a hard time believing that now I got to build back up...now. But as long as I draw breath, all I have to do is start and keep going.
If churches are struggling, once again the people have to be taught about finances, how to budget their money in order to be good at home and in turn the church prosper. Listen to Anthony!
This is the most sprit-filled, culturally relevant, intellectually inclined channel on TH-cam. I am so grateful for Pastor Bryant for providing a platform for these amazing guests to share the wealth of knowledge , inspiration, and insight at this level. It’s a blessing 🙌🏽
This was a great interview! This is the type of content that needs to be pushed in our community. Yes!! It’s so refreshing to see a successful black man living what appears to be an integral life…not perfect, but integral! Thank you, sir!
This was such a GREAT and necessary discussion! The topics of financial accountability and financial wellness need to be discussed in all spaces and places in our community!
Great conversation. I also dropped out of Beula Heights bible college over 20 yrs ago. Felt like a failure for years, but I understand that part of my journey NOW. Free like Jesus!
Absolutely loved this conversation, will watch the full conversation for sure. Powerful!! The Lord God told us to be fruitful multiply and fill the earth, subdue it, take dominion. Let's go.
This was awesome!! The last few minutes Anthony drop transformative mind blowing priorities!!! As a single person and how we should be thinking biblically. Wow !!! Definitely has me thinking. Thank you
This is so good. I work in AI Data Architecture; I keep trying to talk to our people and everyday people in general about AI and ways to prepare for what is coming because I am working with it for 12 hours a day! They don't want to hear it. They think it is the devil...lol...or they just simply think they can put their head in the sand; that it is over their heads, and they can pray it away...I am dumbfounded at the willful ignorance SOME hold onto at our own detriment. There are too many resources available for people to out of the loop. Even if we are still learning what to do with our money; there is no excuse not to be making an income decent enough for you to invest and leverage something...we don't want to know. That is the conclusion I have come to...we have settled into the comfort of saying "they" aren't doing this for us (blaming Biden, Obama, or even Trump) ...as if we are still on a plantation waiting for someone else to feed us and hand us the house and the land...it just saddens me. Then when we see another person of color buying Bentleys and having an air of knowledge and power...we say they are bougie! And shouldn't our leaders be the ones with the most money...like I want my Pastor to be a good man and I would much rather see him in a Bentley than a Honda Accord, both things can be true. How can he teach me, and he doesn't know what to do or have anything to do it with??? Churches will raise 5 offerings during a service not to mention a midweek Bible study and then turn around and have no financial courses for the church members, no programs to implement technical teaching and training for its members, no career services for its members...just asking for money and telling you how you need faith...it's laughable. At this point I half think I go for the community aspect...I have to rely on 80% of my development outside the church. We need more well-rounded Pastors. Real Talk.
"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16:26 KJV
My friends Kia was just broken into and that's the first thing the police said, it's the #1 stolen car. I am working on everything you two have just discussed. Thanks.
This is definitely a needed conversation and we as religious people need to remember and understand that the church doesn't own blocks and neighborhoods for a reason, and that your religion or beliefs are not everyone's, and this is a free country!!
Excuse me? I feel sorry for you and any dictator who feels they can force anything on anyone if that's your point! And if you're thinking I don't believe in God then you're highly mistaken! I think you might want to read the comment again and see if you have a different perception after reading this, because I'm unsure about what you feel sorry for!! 🤔
This is good. People are bound with a mentality of poverty, lack and struggle. I want to see the Body of Christ looking just as good, if NOT BETTER, than the children of the world. We must come up.

The stress comes along with that assignment, especially with the fact that him being a black man. Just look at what Obama had to endure and look at what he look like when he came out of that office
The black church is the strongest interest group in our community and it needs to start acting like it. There should be no logical reason why the preacher and his wife should be pulling up in $100k+ cars and wearing expensive jewelry, when there are members of their congregation who do not know how they are gonna pay their rent. The black church should be held to a higher standard of economic responsibility than it has been. Imagine the church investing in its community and employing their members? That would only be mutually beneficial.
Greatest of Tuesdays Maxine.. How many churches of color, especially those churches that are still the "local" church (not the mega church) purchasing the "block"? I personally know of ONE local church on the Southside of Chicago that purchased the block, and business in that neighborhood to build their church. Now that church is a staple in that community and doing great outreaches to uplift that community to include the residents.
Anthony, it is not only African Americans that are creative and inventive, it is blacks all over the world because of what we endured. Oppression in the past.
I love this topic! This is a subject my pastor @Melvin O. Marriner of @GroveChurchVa has been speaking on, and leading on for the last few years. Excellent subject!!!
Your walk as a person of faith is what makes you appealing to others, not your material possessions. Your barber should have asked...Yo, you seem like a cool dude. How did you get that way. But to suggest you could not have reached him in a Honda ties into your earlier statement about trying to impress people. Part of the problem for Black people is the constant drumbeat that you're only important if you can show me your material success. Wealthy individuals of other ethnicities would argue against this idea of the wealth trap. They drive modest cars and are just as impactful. Congrats on your success, I watch often.
Why is the goal to grow richer in the church and not to help more people? The reason people care about their pastor’s car is because they just told me to give when I don’t have it/give until it hurts, but the pastor is not willing to miss a meal or help the patrons come up!
The problem with this rhetoric is that the people in a congregation are in church for spiritual fulfillment. What? They're able to give or not give. Should not be questioned...
Let's build here and live here- in this wisdom...THEN we grow our communities, leaders, churches. Financial literacy + Kingdom+ Stewardship + Integrity + healthy family mental health......etc
I believe some churches have a poor mindset is because the preacher teaches that it's hard for a rich man to enter the Kingdom. That's not true. God wants us to prosper. He talks a lot about money in the Bible. Quoted in the book, "How to Manage Your Money, An In-Depth Bible Study On Personal Finances", there are Scripture teaching you how to do it God's way.
Vince McMahon should be pastors mentor for churches to rebrand... WWE went thru eras and was able to grow with totally new leadership each time and still grow greater than the era before...
Thanks for having me on bro! Just an honor.

The stress comes along with that assignment, especially with the fact that him being a black man. Just look at what Obama had to endure and look at what he look like when he came out of that office
Because he wouldn't win🤦🏽♀️use your common sense
That’s is correct, if he can trust you in the little, then he can trust you with much Luke 16:10 🙏🏾❤️🔥
I think the offering will increase when we stop hearing a tithing sermon BEFORE OR AFTER the sermon. Please and Thank you Pastor

"If the church was buying the block, there would be no gentrification." OOH SHOTS FIRED!!!
@@evom1987 much respect to that leadership and church for having the vision and executing on that vision to do so.
Hi Maxine1616..
Exactly!
It would be phenomenal if more churches in their communities had that level of foresight.
Great conservations. I'm always getting nuggets from A.O.
Anthony, it is not only African Americans that are creative and inventive, it is blacks all over the world because of what we endured. Oppression in the past.
He’s talking about himself and his experience.
I love this topic! This is a subject my pastor @Melvin O. Marriner of @GroveChurchVa has been speaking on, and leading on for the last few years. Excellent subject!!!
Love this conversation..pastor Bryant say I thought you were leaking news here first!
This is so good go to the head of the class. This just reminded me that I am not crazy.

Ebeneezer is an inner city, urban Mega church in Atlanta, GA. But they don’t own the building. ❤🙏🏾
This conversation bless me today✊🏾
What I just heard was: Creativity with no Strategy leads to Catastrophe!
Buying a Bentley provides NO service to the Kingdom
Some people are out for self more than they are out for God
Why would I want my Pastor POOR!! BENTLEY, YES!!!
We can own where death is… but we can’t own where life is!!! #whew!!!!!!!
Getting the Right Wisdom
Why is the goal to grow richer in the church and not to help more people?
The reason people care about their pastor’s car is because they just told me to give when I don’t have it/give until it hurts, but the pastor is not willing to miss a meal or help the patrons come up!
I love this first time I ever heard this.
