@@docilecrocodile5981 I've seen a few of episodes of the USA and NZ version. The NZ version is honestly not bad but the US version is just awful. Most surprising though was the Finnish version, that's probably the closest to the UK one quality wise.
I love how many levels of disbelief Greg goes through about the tattoo. Seeing the picture of Josh getting the tattoo, but still making him come over and take his shoe off to prove it’s still there, then trying to rub it off with spit, then he still has to ask if it’s real before he believes it! 7:44

It’s all to do with keeping all the elements of the thumbnail visible. They wanted to include Greg, Joe, Katherine, Josh, and the tattoo, and technically they could have done the same layout, reversed, without mirroring the images. However, they always have the Channel 4 logo in that position, so if Greg was there his face would be covered. They also always have a caption on the left hand side, and while the size and position is allowed to be altered, there isn’t a way to do it that doesn’t involve covering at least one of the others. This is a neat layout that nicely frames the tattoo and fits the required branding, and I don’t think they could have made as clean an image without flipping the photos
Oh I really wanted Greg to give Josh NO POINTS for that and just bust his chops about it. I thought that would have been awesome. Was still great as is though! 😂😂
These really make me frustrated with the more recent contestants who, because they couldn't be bothered to watch the show before appearing on it, just bring in whatever they found in their kitchen on the way out the door. These were some really memorable moments. A kebab skewer or venetian mask wasn't good OR funny. Just a waste of time.
At least when it was on Dave, the clips UKTV posted on TH-cam had decent titles - you got exactly what it said on the tin, no more and no less. Channel 4 really love their 'Josh has Greg's name tattooed on his foot (plus a bunch of other random clips to bulk out the runtime, oh god please watch our content)' titles. It got old quickly with Cats Does Countdown clips, it's already got old with Taskmaster.
