This is how all pastors should be and understand that tithing is contributing and helping the poor so that everyone can have a balanced and fair life. Not stealing but sharing and less corruption and more helping each other. Respect and love between neighbor for the good and peace of a nation.
I was answering my modules when i came across this parable. I was too lazy to read the text there so i searched up a video about it (i understand more when watching videos). This message really hits me hard, and Im thankful that God has send me this. This made my day.
Yes, he did keep his job and his human employer even commended what he did. Jesus however, noted his unrighteousness! One translation says that the people of this world system are wiser in a practical way towards their own.(this leads to war justification). Meaning wiser than those who choose not to live according to this system. In one of the OT Psalms when Yahweh speaks through the Psalmist about a person like the employer in this parable, Yahweh says: "whenever you saw a thief, you were even pleased with him."
Yes, he continued to be employed, but Jesus kept noting the badness of the human worldly system, and the consequences that it leads to! (War justification).
