dude.. i dont really stan groups/anyone, but i am a dancer and i gotta say.. hyunjin? wow.. this is gonna be a long one.. he's such a skilled performer, he managed to execute the concept perfectly, looking like a "maniac" but with such controlled chaos (i.e. with charismatic energy nailing every facial expression, he managed to embody the role of a maniac in a visually appealing way, using precise and sharp yet elegant and fluid movements) where is his acting contract or something?? he might already have one idk lol, i know him from his psycho fancam and a compilation clip i saw a while back of him dancing, and from what i've gathered now, here's what i think, dance wise: anyone can follow choreography, but hyunjin seems to never compromise his artistry just to be perceived as more of a "technical" dancer, even though it's within his capabilities, he prioritises a well-rounded performance by balancing technique and artistry, which makes for more of a satisfying performance to look at, i think that's what makes him so eye-catching as well. in this video, not once did he lose control of his body; i know very skilled dancers who, should they try to follow suite, would still struggle to achieve the desired maniacal look needed to centre and lead the choreo while remaining so graceful and maintaining a solid expression throughout, it would probably look chaotic, not in a good way, in a "out of control doing the most but achieving very little, and at the risk of looking ostentatious" way, im a lil jealous in that regard ngl lol. hyunjin's every move was intentionally executed, he knew where he needed to be subtle, where to be powerful and where to place which expression and hence perfectly portrayed the story they wanted to be told, you'd need a lot of intuition doing that, that's the talent of an artist, not just a performer or an actor, but do cast him in a role, dude looks straight out of an mmorpg or a manga lol. i'm gonna be honest, though i respect all forms of art, i'm not that into kpop, i only checked this video out after listening to a few songs from their recent album, and it sounded nothing like anything i'd expect a kpop group to produce, found out they write and produce their own music, and it just seems to me like the entire group is a full package, out of the bounds of kpop, plus i just have the urge to binge hyunjins fancams now lol
Can you imagine that he doesn’t have an acting contract yet! I’m new to the Kpop world and i was mesmerized by hyunjin’s performances, and i was like there’s got to be a performer like him only to find out that there wasn’t someone who really get into character and execute each move with such precision and add his own print like hyunjin. I think i watched all of his fancams even the ones from 2018, so if you want me to recommend you some i’m here :)

Have you seen his Artist of The Month he dance to Motley Crew by Post Malone it was completely insane he blew my mind😩 hyunjin is part of danceracha (danceline of stray kids with lee know and felix!) and the fact hyunjin isn’t the main dancer but he’s technic and moves are so clean and specially his facial expression are insane he’s incredible and he came really far so proud of him!!

After watching this I just wanted to see comments praising Hyunjin and I guess I don't need to look further! I don't stan much boygroups and Stray Kids music had never fit my taste. But firstly I really like this song and secondly I'm just completely amazed by Hyunjin, for the reasons you described so well (on top of being one of the most gorgeous male idols). I'm amazed by Felix too. I can't believe I'm actually searching for performances and fancams lol. I don't even do that for the groups I stan.

I was wondering why Bang Chan didn't give himself more lines... then i realized this song is to showcase mostly low voices and his voice isn't really too fitting for transitions, he is more fitted for hype-like songs, so that's why he sings in those parts. He really is a sweet person

I find group movements incredible, each member brings their energy to create a coherent unit. But I'm blown away by Hyunjin, in his central part, he dances like a video game character, a disjointed zombie, it's spectacular (I even thought it was a digital effect at first).
자꾸 베베 안무가 더 낫다고 하는데 애초에 댄서와 아이돌이 보여줄 수 있는 춤에서의 포인트가 다름…댄서는 퍼포먼스적으로 좀 더 눈에 띄여야하고 아이돌은 포인트 안무로 쉽게 기억에 남아야 함..,,그래서 둘이 비교하는게 아닌 개별적으로 봐야한다고 봄

no offense but it’s because of the editing and they film it multiple times. They spend 6hrs+ filming of course it’s going be better than music shows
Probably they took more recording for it, and with the simple bg, it display the choreo and dance neatly giving us a very pleasing visual
He’s good but editing and theirs no props and crowd and him having to shoot multiple things like award show cameraman
There's a lot of post-production editing that goes on for these videos, but I still agree. Music show cameramen are OBSESSED with chaotic zoom ins/outs and jumping all over the place with their shots. It's hard to focus on the idols when the camera is spazzing everywhere. If they think that all these crazy camera movements add to the performance in any way, they are WRONG lol.

@@almaramirez5141 felix has a back injury so he's been advised to avoid dancing to recover properly and han injured himself whilst preparing for the comeback during one of their dance practices hence why he wasn't in the choreo part during the actual mv but he's all good to dance now

@@RaquelSantos- I don’t know what exactly happened, but they released a statement before their fan meeting which was on February saying that felix won’t able to perform with rest of the members cuz of his back pain and the doctor advised him to do so for a faster recovery.
