Is Diavalo actually the same entity as King Crimson? We see him using the stand like his own body early on, even speaking through it. And during the requiem chaos we see that his personality was hiding entirely within another person who didn't switch bodies with him. It seems to me like you can say that the personality known as Diavolo is actually King Crimson itself, it's a rogue stand with complete sentience.
