    I have a question. I have no experience like your background. And I'm what wondering how much experience do you need or what type of schooling do you prior need before doing this coding class? Because like I said, I have none. Is it good enough for someone who has no idea about coding or data

    • @KrystleTa

      Hi thanks for your question! TripleTen's Software Engineering course is great for anyone who has little to no experience, a lot of students have completely switched careers from a non-technical background and have no prior knowledge when they sign up. I would just encourage you to have a lot of self motivation and determination and believe that you can do this program. Some students surprise themselves and find out that they love coding so be confident in yourself because you are more capable than you may think!

    I wonder about the job market in tech bc I know some people who are having it hard when trying to find a job. Should I be worried? I am interested

    • @KrystleTa
      @KrystleTa  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks for the question, it is something that I think about also. The first thing I'd advise is to not let any of that affect your goals or throw you off because everyone at any point in time I feel will have a different experience. If this is something you want to do, you CAN do it. If your end goal is to find a job, you WILL find a job. A few things you could do is to research what companies you may be interested in working for and try to find someone you can speak to (try LinkedIn or Glassdoor) and get some insight into what they may be looking for in terms of skillset or potential job positions. You may need to tailor your learning journey to take extra courses (there are many free courses too) to add to your skillset. TripleTen offers a segment dedicated to brushing up your LinkedIn profile and getting you ready to put yourself out there and start job hunting. Externships are also available as part of the bootcamp, so you will do a mini project for a real company which will also help for your portfolio. I think the main thing is to not be worried as ultimately your determination will get you to where you want to be. Tech has so many paths and it'll be a matter of finding the right one for you. Hope that helps!

    How did you randomly open a restaurant? If you had enough funds to do that why enter a boot camp?

      @@RichDesigner-g3e I opened the restaurant with my husband which is more his thing. @@KrystleTa had the bootcamp proved successful? Did you get a job? I just started but it seems like the only 10 ppl who I can find who graduated actually just work for tripleten now and don’t seem to be making 75k+ as tutors.

      @KrystleTa  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@RichDesigner-g3e I have almost completed the final project then will go into career acceleration and job hunting but so far I have found it very useful and I’m definitely more confident than I was before I started. TripleTen just held an event in LA and there were five alumni who spoke about finding jobs after the course. I am not sure how you can get in touch with more graduates but I can find out. Working as a tutor would be quite valuable experience for graduates in the interim if they are wanting experience to add to their portfolio.

    ive read that tripleten isn't worth it and most likely a scam with predatory tactics. People have a hard time finding a job and get into debt. What would be your thoughts on this since ive been looking into tripleten myself.

    • @KrystleTa
      @KrystleTa  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi! Thanks for your comment!
      Regarding TripleTen most likely a scam, I firmly do not believe they try to trick anyone into signing up with them most especially in a dishonest or illegal way.
      Without knowing the backstory or personal experience of those who are saying it's not worth it, my thoughts are that people will find it hard to get a job and will be in debt regardless of whether you complete a bootcamp or a university degree. Completing a bootcamp or a degree won't automatically land you a job. There is a lot more work you have to put into it.
      In addition to this, I think that you have to decide whether the bootcamp meets your goals and is aligned with what you want to achieve out of completing the course. Does it cover the technologies you want to learn? There are a lot of bootcamps out there - I don't think there is a one size fits all.
      There is certainly the option to learn from many other resources and free courses as well however, some like the bootcamp style way of learning as you have to complete projects within a certain timeframe which helps you stay accountable. If you are disciplined enough to follow your own schedule and that works for you that is great!
      TripleTen's bootcamp in particular also includes a career segment that goes over things like job interview preparation, how to format your LinkedIn profile and suggest ways in how to make you stand out as a potential candidate. Externships are offered with TripleTen so you can work on a project for a real company which will become a project you can put down on your CV or resume as experience.
      Ultimately, everyone is going to have a different experience and as mentioned it is up to you to decide whether it will meet your goals and needs. If it does, then it is also up to you to make the most of it. The bootcamp provides you with all the necessary tools you need to get the most out of it. I hope that helps!

Maybe try some headphones. I have my volume just a tad bit over halfway and can hear her great. She did an awesome job! I am literally deaf so I feel your pain haha which is another reason why I use headphones. I dunno why but my hearing has always been garbage lol. Hi there so im considering tripleten ive been doing a bunch of research on them and i spoke with a advisor over the phone and i even got approved on one of there payment plans but is tripleten really worth the money i would be spending i really want to be able to get into the cyber security fields and triple ten recommended i go for quality assurance engineer

    • @KrystleTa
      @KrystleTa  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi! That's great you are doing a lot of research and have spoken to an advisor. In regards to whether it is worth the money, my thoughts are that it will really come down to whether the course you choose aligns with your goals (your research will help you determine this). There are a lot of bootcamps out there and I have always felt that there is no one size fits all, so ensuring you go with the one that meets your needs will be a factor in whether it'll be worth it. Secondly, it'll also be down to you ensuring you make the most out of the bootcamp and what they offer, the tools they provide, the advice they give - you'll still need to put in the work to ensure you maximise their offerings. Completing a bootcamp will not automatically land you a job, same with completing a degree - you still need to work on creating a brand for yourself to stand out amongst many other graduates or other candidates. TripleTen's Career Acceleration portion of the bootcamp really helps you with this as an offering that maybe some other bootcamps don't provide. In terms of wanting to get into Cyber Security - there is a new Cyber Security course that TripleTen just announced, I am wondering what determined the advisor to recommend Quality Assurance? Either way, take a look at what both courses offer and see which path you'd like to choose. I really hope this helps, happy to answer any more questions and wish you all the best on your journey!

      @KrystleTa so I do have another question for you I'm trying to do the co sign payment for the tripleten bootcamp but my options are very limited (family is unhelpful and I gues I don't know enough people with good credit🤣)but I did get approved for the first option witch is like 239 a month with a 1000 dollar deposit also I am going to sign for the fasfa and maybe a Pell grant but I'm not exactly trying to wait months on end to get that funding for the bootcamp what other options could I take? I'm kind of at a lost you would think family would be jumping to help you get a career and good education going but family sucks no surprise there I could do the that 1000 dollar option but I can't afford it when I have bills to pay and everything any thank you for the response on my initial post I really appreciate it it was very helpful

      @@tylerkremer5639 That's a great question and I understand it is a huge investment to pursue this especially when you do not have the extra support. There are four payment options that TripleTen offer and I'm glad you were approved for the monthly option. Have you considered their "Income-based" option where you can pay back your tuition once you have landed a job? There is more info here: tripleten.com/blog/posts/should-i-use-an-income-share-agreement-to-fund-my-coding-bootcamp. You can speak with a TripleTen advisor to find out more which could be an option for you?
