Hi Jack... Thank you... yes, it was a beautiful piece of wood ... You need nice wood if you are keeping the design simple... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
Very nice, Andy. You make it look easy. We actually had our first several dry days in a row last week, and another unexpected sunny day today. Fruit tree blossoms everywhere!
Hi Valerie... Thank you very much... this was a nice simple project... I'm glad that you are enjoying some fine weather.... it sounds idyllic 😊.. Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
Hi Andy nice to see you again hope you are well. The wood has really lovely grain and it's a nice colour. The seam ripper is magnificent it's really one of my favourites among many of your projects. I like your paste you make and use it makes the item shine along with your homemade wood wax that outs the final shine on it. Like you said it looks like wood not plastic. Well done Amanda xx❤❤❤
Hi Amanda... Good thanks... I hope that you and yours are well... This was a nice simple little project but as you said, the wood is beautiful and is the main feature... Thank you as always for your kind words... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy xx
Hi Andy Must be nice turning without the rain on the roof.great to see you back creating again,I did a crotchet hook for my new daughter in law a kit very similar to the seam ripper great small turning exercise. Thanks for sharing stay safe and dry Regards
Hi Mal... Don't worry.. the rain is back to normal here... The crochet hook sounds great.. I bet she loves it... Thank you... I hope that you are enjoying some sunshine... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
Hi Andy we’ve had a good winter and spring so far. We get a few days of almost 20 degree weather with sun lately but then drop back to 8 or 10 and rain. It’s going to be a bit dull here for the next week or so but then…….who knows 😊. I thought you were making a pen when you started up (didn’t have sound on) and then was quite surprised to see a seam ripper! That’s a great kit. I have several friends who do a lot of sewing. Hope you see some sun soon!! Cheers, Rick
Hi Rick... I'm glad that you have had a good winter and spring and I hope that the good weather will return soon... Rain, rain and more rain here ☔🙄 This is a great little kit... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
wish the emoji's did chads, wot no rain, we've had sunshine wind hail then rain here in Lincolnshire today, nice easy project that's a nice bit of grain in that wood, lovely finish. All the best from Lincolnshire
Lovely little Seam Ripper Andy. I've made quite a few and they all sold. Mine were double ended versions with the ripper on one end and a stiletto on the other. Great video my friend. Take care Andy. Cheers, Huw
Hi John... Thank you so much... These are great kits to make from Prokraft... I hope that you will enjoy making yours... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
Hi Mark... Thank you... I'm glad that you liked it... I hope that you will enjoy some good weather this weekend 😊... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
I've used a seam ripper many times but never had one as beautiful as this one! It's a valuable tool when sewing and you make a mistake or need to remove temporary stitches. For a while I had an old inexpensive machine that liked to get knotted up on the underside of a seam. The seam ripper got a workout then! Yours is so simple and yet so beautiful. It would be a fine gift for anyone who likes to sew. Take care, Andy. I think we got your bad weather! Lots of wind, snow, and rain. Quite miserable for doing anything outside. 😊
Hi Gwynn... Good for you... it sounds like you are quite the expert... I can replace a button and see on a patch but that's about it... I'm glad that you liked the ripper... I hope that you are enjoying some sunshine now... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
Salut Denis... haha.. il est utilisé pour couper des points lors de la couture.. pour démonter une couture... je suis heureux que tu aies apprécié la vidéo... prends soin de toi mon ami et tout le meilleur d'Andy 👋 😊
Hi George... I'm glad that you liked the video and it's great to hear from Nova Scotia... I hope that you will have fun making yours... The kit came from Prokraft... www.prokraft.co.uk/seam-ripper-kits.html Take care...All the best.....Andy I would imagine that postage is a bit pricey to Canada...

Nice simple project that even I could do 😂 From what I observed, it's basically all same type of things you have to do when making isn't it? I'm guessing your stealing ideas from Huw 🤣🤣
Hi Stuart... These single barrel kits are a great way to get into pen turning.. So much easier than the slimline kits that people tend to start with because of the cost... Yes... exactly the same process as a pen kit... I will take inspiration from wherever I find it... even Huw... haha... just kidding 😂😂 Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
