How to check meter reading ? আপনার মিটার রিডিং check করুন ! ইলেক্ট্রিসিটি মিটারে কী দেখতে পাবেন ??

In this video I am trying to explain how the consumer can check the reading of his energy meter installed by the respective service provider.
The energy meter installed by various provider mainly WBSEDCL and CESC in West Bengal has several things written over the meter box like :
1. Maker of the electricity meter
2. Manufacturing date
3. Load capacity of the electricity meter
4. Whether the meter is single phase or three phase
5. Serial number of the energy meter etc
For conventional electricity meter reading of unit is very easy as the reading is always displayed on the display
But for digital or new meter the the consumer has to manually read the unit mainly by pressing the button over the electricity meter. the press button may be situated in different position for different maker
The step by step data displayed on the digital meter is as follow:
1st press: Shows the meter serial number the same that is displayed over the meter box.
2nd press: Shows the current date
3rd press : Shows the current time
4th press: Shows the reading on energy meter. This is the reading against which the consumer has to pay the electricity bill.
5th press: 5th press on the electricity meter button shows the Maximum Demand. Maximum demand is the maximum unit that was found in a duration of 30 minutes on that energy meter.
There are several other information that can be retrieved from the electricity meter.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিভিন্ন প্রদানকারী প্রধানত WBSEDCL এবং CESC দ্বারা ইনস্টল করা এনার্জি মিটারে মিটার বাক্সের উপরে বেশ কিছু জিনিস লেখা থাকে যেমন:
1. বিদ্যুৎ মিটারের নির্মাতা
2. উত্পাদন তারিখ
3. বিদ্যুৎ মিটারের লোড ক্ষমতা
4. মিটার একক ফেজ বা তিন ফেজ কিনা
5. শক্তি মিটার ইত্যাদির ক্রমিক নম্বর
প্রচলিত বিদ্যুৎ মিটারের জন্য ইউনিটের রিডিং খুবই সহজ কারণ রিডিং সবসময় ডিসপ্লেতে প্রদর্শিত হয়
কিন্তু ডিজিটাল বা নতুন মিটারের জন্য ভোক্তাকে ম্যানুয়ালি ইউনিটটি পড়তে হয় মূলত বিদ্যুৎ মিটারের বোতাম টিপে। প্রেস বোতাম বিভিন্ন নির্মাতার জন্য বিভিন্ন অবস্থানে অবস্থিত হতে পারে
ডিজিটাল মিটারে প্রদর্শিত ধাপে ধাপে ডেটা নিম্নরূপ:
1ম টিপুন: মিটারের ক্রমিক নম্বরটি দেখায় যা মিটার বাক্সের উপরে প্রদর্শিত হয়।
২য় প্রেস: বর্তমান তারিখ দেখায়
3য় প্রেস: বর্তমান সময় দেখায়
৪র্থ প্রেস: এনার্জি মিটারের রিডিং দেখায়। এটি সেই রিডিং যার বিপরীতে গ্রাহককে বিদ্যুৎ বিল দিতে হয়।
5ম প্রেস: ইলেক্ট্রিসিটি মিটার বোতামে 5ম প্রেস সর্বোচ্চ চাহিদা দেখায়। সর্বোচ্চ চাহিদা হল সর্বোচ্চ একক যা সেই শক্তি মিটারে 30 মিনিটের মধ্যে পাওয়া গেছে।
বিদ্যুৎ মিটার থেকে পুনরুদ্ধার করা যেতে পারে এমন আরও বেশ কিছু তথ্য রয়েছে।
