Hmm...never knew that about using torch to reduce the scratches. I have been working with vinyls since 2002-2013 and always used heatgun and vinyl is 3M. And I would see the scratches but thought there was no way of getting them off... But this torch idea is great! Thanks for the tip. Love your videos...keep up the good work.
Just found your channel yesterday and watched all your vids already bro! You’re killing it, you got the world by the balls man, so cool to see a young dude like you killing the game. Great work bro!
Also glad to find your channel. I enjoy watching journeymen from most all types of trades. With your attention to quality and detail, your future is bright no matter what venture you endeavor. You seem to have a natural grasp of the 4 agreements very early in life. For anyone curious, the four agreements are: 1. Be impeccable with your word, 2. Never take anything personal, 3. Never make assumptions, 4. Always do your best
Haters are people that have no job, so they have time to hate you. Love to watch your work dude and how those cars change their look. Greets from Poland
No the true definition of a HATER is Any dumb prick that has to find faults and nit pik at every fucking thing someone does because their low self esteemed, two faced, pathetic ass can't do it....
Your work is awesome! Anyone who has an issue with a torch on their car to put on a wrap has issues. I wish you were in Miami instead id take my car to you. Keep on making dope looking cars!
Good work, and I like the explanation on the torch. A lot of people trip out when they see it. It takes a keen hand to use, but fromthe sounds of it you have been doing it fora few years. I started using a torch probably 5-6 years ago and have a hard time wanting to use a heat gun anymore. The easy, and portability is just untouchedable. Keep up the good work homie!
3m is 1 of the best materials @ using the torch actually bonds the glue better ino the surface of the material to keep it from on wrapping especially in the curved surfaces
Opening the shop at 5am on a Sunday? That's how you know the grind is real. Where are you guys located? I'm 18, my dad and I just opened our body shop here in Illinois last year and starting out is tough, no wrapping just custom paint jobs. But man you make wrapping look so cool and easy.
That mustard yellow looks like the Euro Yellow that Honda released on the Civic Si hatch when it was first released in 2002. I always wondered why wrap installers used blowtorches. Now it makes sense. Does the blowtorch remove the fine lines better than the heat gun or is it just more convenient to go all around the car without cords?
You're doing an awesome job and I love the vibe you have in your videos! In the car-industry, no matter what you do, there will always be people who talk bad about others, but think of it this way : If they talk about you, you're probably more interesting then they are and doing your thing so good they feel jealous! If they were better, they wouldn't bother talking shit about others ;-) Greetings from Belgium! Keep it up bro!
Hey man. Just discovered your channel and started following. I get really stressed and watching you wrap and complete cars actually calms me. Does Alex have a channel or insta? That dude is hilarious. Please always include him😂 Are you based in CA? I grew up in Huntington Beach, but live in Knoxville TN now.
haha its a common question that continues to be brought up, hopefully this somewhat explains why to everybody. Glad I was able to address you by the time you said anything!! lol
Hey dude just starting to learn wrapping cars i hope you can make a playlist like where all your lessons on how to wrap are in that playlist thank you for the tips!!
Thank you so much!! Your videos helpd me a lot specially on the fender video that you just posted i just finished a fender of a corolla. I hope you can also do a video abot paint protection films 😊 more power to your shop!
whats going on? I've been watching a lot of your videos and with this one i finally understand why some people use the torch. Now I use it as a finishing touch. also.....how do i find a shop like the one you work out of?
when your tucking it by the mirror there, do you not even hit it with the heat, or just cold pull it? lmao ill probably never wrap a car but ive seen so many videos now i enjoy the process
Honestly love the look of wraps Imma wrap some parts on my car soon don't know where to buy wrap from tho. (I drive a shitty 03 cavalier so not dropping 2000$ into it)
Yo my man! Great video and your wraps have always come out clean so keep doing ya thang!🤙🏽 Quick question, how much do you typically charge for projects?
say i laid the wrap already and a bad cloth glove did micro scratches, would the torch trigger its memory? or would i have to be able to pull it up, torch and re lay that part? I had this happen on a bike and it was such a small piece I just re did it. But on a car that would save a lot material.
I think i'll start using this.. in Brasil we call it maçarico, i commented something on your instagram about that with other brazilian asking for references.. ;)
Clean work bro haters gunna hate about the torch but it takes some serious skill and practice to do what you do keep up the A-1 work and shrug off the keyboard warriors they're just mad they dont got the skills to pay the bills
is wrapping the bottom of the fender or that little lip that people roll, or like a side skirt similar to wrapping the rest of the car? cuz aren’t they usually rocker gaurded, or more rough cuz of rock chips and stuff. don’t know if it’s a dumb question
Yes it is, some vinyl won't stick since most bumpers are not painted all the way through (manufacture fault) the bottom. So its rough because its really just the over spray of the paint and clear coat from being sprayed. Some do stick some do not, but I always add a sealant tape to secure the hold
There is always going to people hating. Just internet trolls. It's quite annoying but like others have mentioned before, don't worry about them and do your thing. Keep it up
Samson Montoya Thanks so much! I bought some Black Chrome quite a while back so I'm wondering if it's still viable! Love your Channel! Respect your Hustle, Sir!
Chrome and brushed vinyl you can’t really get it out. Your better off using the heat gun since you can get consistent heat as the torch will possibly burn it. I don’t use a torch on chrome though at all.
so i looked up what the benefits where for using a wrap over a paint job, in my mind a paint job would be better as it lasts longer. but i found another streamer that explained why he uses wraps and now i see it differently, its not to preserve the paintjob nor is it better then a paintjob that is gonna last longer then 2 years at most. its that with a wrap you can any design or color that you fancy on a whim and when you no longer want it all you gotta do is peel it off. that is my current understanding and i think its actualy not a bad idea in that sense
From my experience it seems they take out most unless they are deep scratches. From this video it seems the torch takes out all of them not matter how deep

Thanks for explaining and showing the practical example! really helpful, saw some videos from your channel, you did a great job man!
The torch made quick work of those scratches! Way faster than a head gun.
Haters are people that have no job, so they have time to hate you. Love to watch your work dude and how those cars change their look. Greets from Poland
Definitely right about that! Much love from Cali! Thanks for the support my man!!
No the true definition of a HATER is Any dumb prick that has to find faults and nit pik at every fucking thing someone does because their low self esteemed, two faced, pathetic ass can't do it....
Keep doing your thing! Forget the haters! If a torch works for you over a heat gun that is your choice! As long as it get the job done!!
Great job very honest hardworking and inspirational!!! Love your vids
I dont think you need to explain to haters
I like you...My man! lol
sale v whos hating? Premium?
Ur right.... fuck this haters his not burning the car... it's the same thing as a heat gun...keep the good job bro
Samson Montoya just like how i like yo vlog keep it up! If only you give out more content
so curious people are called haters now? that's ignorant
Your work is awesome! Anyone who has an issue with a torch on their car to put on a wrap has issues. I wish you were in Miami instead id take my car to you. Keep on making dope looking cars!

I agree 100% with you, not a huge fan of this heat gun
I know a couple people that have wrap and its a lot cheaper than paint but never thought it looked that good as finished but yours looks good
bro...I literally love watching your videos. Keep killing the game
Love to here, thank you for the support my man (:
Who's the manufacturer on that wrap? I like the finish, just wondering what other colors they have like it.
I used both 3m and Avery Dennison in this video bud? Yellow was 3m and Black was Avery
Gotcha. The yellow has a dope pearl metallic flake
Samson Montoya what blow torch do you use?
Jacob R. Doty I want a garage so badly😂
Retweet bruh. I'm working on it
I just made the switch from heat guns to torch and dude it’s a huge game changer
Just have to be careful!
3m is 1 of the best materials @ using the torch actually bonds the glue better ino the surface of the material to keep it from on wrapping especially in the curved surfaces
Massive respect for the hours you put into the job, hope you make it big. Love seeing these cars getting wrapped.
Appreciate the support man!!

Showing up to work at 5:30 on a sunday. Ill subscribe just for that. Respect
Found your channel a few days ago, really impressed with the quality, keep it up and you'll go far man!
Thank you!! I appreciate it a lot, hardwork will pay off one day
I like this dude, doing an honest days work with his hands and showing some real skill. I wonder how much one of these vinyl jobs costs?
That mustard yellow looks like the Euro Yellow that Honda released on the Civic Si hatch when it was first released in 2002.
I always wondered why wrap installers used blowtorches. Now it makes sense. Does the blowtorch remove the fine lines better than the heat gun or is it just more convenient to go all around the car without cords?
Them fools are hating on you bro.. Your really good in wrapping
Keep up the good work.... keep on doing you...you will have people hating no matter what...you can't please everyone...
100% Truth about that! People don't like too see others doing good these days unfortunately, Just gotta keep pushing & moving forward!
And thank you! Have a blessed day
You inspire me to work harder at what I do. Keep up the great work thanks for what you do
Good explanation. How many °C on the torch? Or is it not regulated? I can't find a torch less than 1200°C, but I think that's too much for vinyl.
I don't know a thing about cars but I really enjoy your videos.
You're doing an awesome job and I love the vibe you have in your videos!

Those who hate are those that can’t handle the heat of the torch. It’s too much for them!! Keep it up!!
true!
haters gon' hate...keep grinding
Always!
So this method will work on both Avery and 1080 Gloss films? Just making sure, I wasnt sure which gloss film you were using here👀
You are very talented. This is not as easy as it looks.
boutta get my car wrapped by you in a couple weeks so stoked
Glad you addressed it. I was meaning to ask about the torch lol. Good job man
haha its a common question that continues to be brought up, hopefully this somewhat explains why to everybody. Glad I was able to address you by the time you said anything!! lol
Nice yeezys lol. New to the channel but I've probably watched a dozen of your videos today alone. You do awesome work bro keep doing g your thing 👍

Hey dude just starting to learn wrapping cars i hope you can make a playlist like where all your lessons on how to wrap are in that playlist thank you for the tips!!

ayyyye thank you, and ill be here my man
Why is the flame better than the scraper? for a question of speed of pose, or a question of beauty? like diminishing the orange peel ??
Hey Samson, Will using a heatgun do the same as what you did with the blowtorch with the scratches? Just wanna know as ive got a heatgun but no torch.
Honestly love the look of wraps Imma wrap some parts on my car soon don't know where to buy wrap from tho. (I drive a shitty 03 cavalier so not dropping 2000$ into it)
hey bro I like ur work what state ur in n how much you charge for a full wrapped
Have you ever tried using a mini butane torch on smaller pieces?
Yo my man! Great video and your wraps have always come out clean so keep doing ya thang!🤙🏽 Quick question, how much do you typically charge for projects?
Depending on exact car and color bud about 1500-2000
say i laid the wrap already and a bad cloth glove did micro scratches, would the torch trigger its memory? or would i have to be able to pull it up, torch and re lay that part? I had this happen on a bike and it was such a small piece I just re did it. But on a car that would save a lot material.
Hey what kind of torch are you using and where can I buy ?
What state are you located in? I would love to get my C63 Amg wrapped by you guys.
How much does a standard car cost to wrap? Just out of curiosity. I’d never even heard of this until these videos showed up in my recommended.
Is the fender good or is it really really really really really really really good??
The torch is the best way! Cordless and easy to use.
Just found your channel the other day, awesome content man, keep up the work

Explain how you got your shop?
What gas do you use for the torch? Is it propane or butane?
I am trying to wrap my hood, roof, and trunk on my Nissan Altima and was wondering how much wrap length and width I would need.
I would say about 6 yards roughly
hi there u think i can use the torch on the 1080 3M on satin finish to remove the swirl marks too or it just works on glossy finish?
kurosagii1 works with satin finishes no problem
I have a old 1998 Chevy Suburban that I need wrapped in a dark gunmetal gray color how much would that cost me
I think i'll start using this..
in Brasil we call it maçarico, i commented something on your instagram about that with other brazilian asking for references.. ;)
Does that work on window tint as well?
Clean work bro haters gunna hate about the torch but it takes some serious skill and practice to do what you do keep up the A-1 work and shrug off the keyboard warriors they're just mad they dont got the skills to pay the bills
where is your shop located I wanna come get my car done now
Love what you do, hopefully can take my 300zx one day man
Ill be waiting!!

Around how much does a whole wrap cost?
Kickin knowledge from yes, a professional. Love your videos.
Thanks for the support!! much love
Great stuff, Bruh!
QUESTION!!!!!
HOW LONG CAN CHROME VINYL WRAP SIT ON A SHELF?
Depends, Normal material I would say no longer than 8 months. Chrome it is hard to say
Samson Montoya
Thanks so much!
I bought some Black Chrome quite a while back so I'm wondering if it's still viable!
Love your Channel! Respect your Hustle, Sir!
Will The Torch Work On Taking Out Scratches On Window Banners?
Yes it should
Torch for gloss fim and heat gun on matte film
You ever wrap a motorcycle? Like the fenders
yes I have!!
Will a torch remove a crease that comes from removing the release liner?
Yes
But with chrome, it will not
I am using Avery brushed aluminum, and got a crease mark from peeling the liner, the heat gun won’t take out hoping a torch will🤦🏼♂️
Thank you for your quick reply!
Chrome and brushed vinyl you can’t really get it out. Your better off using the heat gun since you can get consistent heat as the torch will possibly burn it. I don’t use a torch on chrome though at all.
where do you buy the wrap
Can you wrap any rims
Id confidently send my car to you to wrap coz i like people who do their job that have an ocd of perfection.
so i looked up what the benefits where for using a wrap over a paint job, in my mind a paint job would be better as it lasts longer.
but i found another streamer that explained why he uses wraps and now i see it differently, its not to preserve the paintjob nor is it better then a paintjob that is gonna last longer then 2 years at most.

that is my current understanding and i think its actualy not a bad idea in that sense
How much to wrap a 2000 mustang gt
How much to wrap the car
Would a heat gun take out the scratches too?
Not to sure tbh
From my experience it seems they take out most unless they are deep scratches. From this video it seems the torch takes out all of them not matter how deep
Philipe Jose ok cool to kno thanks bro
No problem man
How did you start doing wraps?
Thanks for this vid ill have a crack at it to c how it will fit me.
I started off as a prepper then sent to school for graphics then it all started from there
Do people really ask why you use a torch to do vinyl wrapping? I mean, it's vinyl! How else do you make it soft and pliable?
Yes.... lol
Oh i dont know.. maybe a heatgun?
Or maybe a hair dryer lol
Does the heat gun have the same ability to self heal the vinyl like the blow torch?
No I honesty don't think so!!
Jose Vega he gun does work, just not as efficient as the torch
It depends on the heat that the heatgun creates, hotter is better
Bro your wrap is sick
Thanks fam!!
