Oh my, that breaks my heart about David Dodd. He was just a kid, I hope his mother was not living at that time, because if she was this surely would have killed her. RIP David Dodd, you have touched my heart.
More great history out of America 🇺🇸 Thank you Rhetty. ❤️🇦🇺🐨

There were a lot of mothers that had to endure that sort of pain during the civil war. This one with David certainly struck a chord with the people of the area. thank you for watching!

That's a good question. I guess that could be possible. I know some of the Dodd's are in Little Rock still.

I'm surprised they have let that stay there like that.

I really like your videos; such travel and research! I have watched / listened to your videos so much that my wife kidded that you're my on-line boyfriend! I think she's jealous.... I am also fascinated with American history and the manner in which our society memorializes our dead. Your videos are very professional. Being non-scripted, you've proven your narration talents to be superb. My only suggestion would be to have one of your companions hold the camera for you every now and then so you can be seen in the video. And not to be whiny, the past tense of 'to hang (a man)' is 'hanged', not hung. BTW: We love the beard! Keep filming!

+Matt Rost First thanks for watching and second I appreciate the positive criticism. You're right about the the past tense of hang. That's one of those things where you don't realize it until later and someone points it out. As far as the camera I've been working on the family holding the camera but it hasn't happened yet. I don't think they are quite as excited about these little adventures as I am. Every cemetery that I go in is different. Sometimes it feels like a never ending learning process but I'm ok with that. There is a lot to see out there so I plan on capturing more of it. Thanks again for joining me on this journey!

The memorial for a Grandmaster Lee has no nails. It’s put together like a puzzle.

He wasn't basically a "man" but a young boy, a teen ager of 17.

A man is supposed to be a fully grown adult, that a teen ager is not.
