I'm a day late because we lost power yesterday for 18 hrs(just restored late morning today)w/ a big storm that came across the Northeast!! 🌧☔️🌬 So glad to have heat, & that our basement didn't flood, even tho our sump tub filled up!! Rain stopped earlier than expected & we were spared...PHEW!! 😅 Super-duper gluebook...sooo fun!! ❤🐑🌈

For most of my life, I LOVED snow! and winter was my favourite season. But more recently.... I don't like winter as much .... because of all the worry, and danger it can cause.... and the shovelling work... etc.... and there are fewer and fewer days that I can go out do the things I LOVE about snow..... (Snow sculpting).... but I can't deny it IS beautiful. .... I used to get SO excited when I witnessed the first snow of the season.... now I just kind of dread it. I wish I still loved it as much as I used to. 😕 all that being said, we had a Green Christmas this year, and that just doesn't seem right. 😕

Hi Nicole, this is my first time commenting. I came across your channel a few months ago and I think harvesting magazines is about all I do anymore. I love putting the images into some kind of book. I also love doing something just for me and not worrying what someone else thinks of it. It is all very habit forming and as you say, very relaxing. The sky is really the limit for what you can do with it. Thank you so much for all your ideas. By the way, I love your sense of humor. It is infectious!!!!

What magazines do you tend to use for your images? You have some pretty cool ones. I live in tri cities, wa. And we got a light dusting of snow as well.
Honestly, what ever magazines I can get for free. I get them free on Facebook, The Nextdoor App, etc. I also ask friends and family, my hair salon, etc to give me their old magazines. My favorites to harvest from are Cosmopolitan, Food Network, Birds & Blooms, Fashion Magazines, and any magazines like Womens Day. I find a lot of my unique images from free catalogs!
