Just returned from here and had a wonderful time, make sure you book the 5 start resort as we booked the wrong one lol and ended at the aqua park also nice but the resort is better. Mohammed in the Sports bar, we miss you! God bless Egypt as we had so much peace thank you Jesus Christ. Fabulous food and drinks, beach, spa, staff and wonderful. Internet not great there and we had no mosquitoes or butterfly problems in fact no problems at all!! ❤
Which one is the resort? I’m confused lol. Just trying to decide which one to stay at? The one with all the slides and lazy river … or the other one across the road 😅
@@thegolfballrally2648 so if you book the aqua club you enjoy all the aqua activities and the beach near the resort. My husband preferred the 5 star resort, then you also get to aqua. However if you book only aqua you cannot eat at the 6 restaurants and swim in larger pool and pools at the resort. So decide 4 star less space or 5 star larger rooms and more space and restaurants. Both get to use all aqua and beach facilities!
@@damienmassias9404 the water at low tide is not that deep, and the sea is fairly calm, if you’re not that confident just hang onto the steps at the jetty, there is a life guard sitting there with a ring also if you need this assurance. I would still recommend a trip to Ras Muhammed the National water park the Egyptians that go on these boats with you are highly trained! They always go in small groups with an instructor and a life ring so even if you can’t swim that well you can go and they can give you a life jacket to go in the water with and good trips around £40-£60. Always rent the equipment, that ensures it gets well recycled for another £10 or so. Please go it is just incredibly beautiful and trust me you don’t want to miss it. It is a special place on God’s beautiful earth, albeit in the sea.

I've got to be fair I normally get devoured by mosquitos but when I was there in August I never got touched by them which not the experience others had and not the one I expected either.
We had no problems with mosquitos when we went there just before U.K. Easter. I would say take bands including mosquito watch and spray to help manage this.

If you have done some, is the snorkeling really that bad? How deep can the water get at the end of the jetty? Thanks😊
