Yeah, that storm system hit Texas just before it moved into your area. Had the worst outbreak in 25 years, and was impressive to see the storms roll in. Glad you guys made it out safely.
I was kinda excited for a big storm. it had been a while and my city was under several alerts and a tornado watch .... we proceeded to be the one spot in Texas near the storms that didn't even get that much rain
Crazy story Harrison! I live in an area with pretty mild weather (in terms of tornadoes and such, we get the occasional bad snowstorm though!), so its wild to hear stories about this kind of stuff! I have no idea how my city would deal with such an event. I'm glad to see you were ok!
Yeah I did some math, and that tornado that was 1 mi away from him in his car, Would’ve taken *about 66 seconds* to reach him. (If he would’ve not moved)
I like to do a thing I call ‘rain chasing’. It’s basically storm chasing, just without the tornadoes. It’s just rain and light thunderstorms. For me, it still has all the fun parts of storm chasing, while also being safe. *I see this as an absolute win.*
Fun Fact: There is actually a really safe way to go storm chasing, especially without weather experience; do it in a country where the weather is mild. Like the UK. Another Fun Fact: I'm from the UK. God I love mentioning how I'm from the UK.
I’ve never seen a tornado ever, all I’ve seen was some thing very rare. 6 water spouts all at once. This was in Australia, where I live. Most of the water spouts were ones that looked like “ ropes “ aka basically the size of an EF0 tornado. There was a massive one too.
I remember the night of December 10-11. There was a tornado heading straight at my house and missed by a mile and a half. It was mortifying because, what if it had kept on coming… what then?
I've seen a funnel cloud around a year ago. Saw a dust cloud as well under the funnel so... You can guess how I was feeling during that time. *STRESS* thankfully the tornado did not form
dude you dont know how much happy i am to know that there is a story time animator from alabama i live in alabama and i literally cant find anyone who makes animation youtube videos
In 2020 our town was literally composed. A tornado hit the town and had went over my school, and about 6-7 more schools. Several neighborhoods had been hit and unfortunately, some people lost their homes. An EF1 had hit town.
Been right next to a tornado when it formed. Just an F1 but still scary as hell and sister and I are still traumatized. We both still get bad anxiety whenever weather gets severe. But this was damn funny dude! Glad no one was hurt.
I think it’s funny how these horrible natural disasters that are one of my biggest fears have turned into something that people just go out and view for some people
As someone who has experienced a few tornados, I think it's crazy some of you want to experience it lol. There is almost nothing that instils more fear into me than a tornado, the sound of the ripping winds is just horrifying
Tornado story: did you guys hear about the Long Island Tornadoes In Nov.? well I live in long island. It struck right by me. I didn't see the tornado. but people say Iong Island's has taken some damage. I am truly afraid now.
Fun fact: where i live tornadoes are extremely rare, but still you can get to see a cone of dust, sometimes big enough to scare, but its just nature vacuuming the carpet, nothing major
in saskachewan the weather is so unpredictable that even experts can't forcast stuff. its not that we always get big storms (usually we do though) its just the weather changes so fast that no one can keep up.
I'm also a weather geek mostly Tornadoes and in my area there is a 0.01 chance that a tornado will spawn. Even though everyday is HOT I've never actually seen a tornado but I wish I did.
imagine being in a conversation and saying "there was this one time a tornado was a mile away coming right towards us while we were driving." everyone goes silent
Sad to see that to you. Although in my location don't have any tornadoes, there's other natural disasters like flood. Also, I forgot to say "CONGRATULATIONS FOR HITTING 100K!!!" I almost forgot because I need to watch your latest video.

One time my family was in an argument and it was REALLY stormy on that night. And I was hiding under the blankets playing sonic cuz I was scared of the thunderstorm. 5 minutes letter and.. our house got struck by lightning. Ever since that night, my astraphobia just got worse.
@@ToastedNoodle holy crap man! Hope you feel better. I have dreams where a tornado comes in my area and I have to prepare myself. I do want to in the future make animations but i dont have the time or the resources currently. Maybe one day…
Once in school for science we were supposed to keep track of the weather I was told there would be no tornadoes its winter. like next day people are talking about the tornado that touched down the day before.

I live in that area too, I was scared half to death when I saw the warning.
Man this dude can make a whole Netflix series about his tornado stories, and I think he should.
I agree.
YES !!!!!!!

love watching a video before a thunderstorm happens at 8:00pm
Glad you're safe.

I love how goofy pink girl had the *BOOM* realization and later Mr. Noodle had one too
I'm glad my favorite animator TH-camr didn't die today
My mom was in that tornado outbreak. An EF1-2 touched down a mile away from her location. (she was on vacation)
I remember the day before there was a tornado on the north of Mississippi and I was SO SCARED because there was potential that it was an EF-5.
Since I live where there’s rarely or even no rough weather this must be traumatising in your case.
Dang, Soon you will become brave and become a storm chaser one day.
This is an awesome video this was one of my favorite tornado animations in 2022
didnt he already see a tornado, he uploaded it as a short of him looking to the left and seeing a tornado, ending it off with a powerful yell
Yeah I Just Noticed, lol
That same storm produced twin tornadoes to my North!
