Fantastic content. 👌 I have sat on that pirates grave & had a photo taken not to Mrs. k's Liking as she thought it would've been bringing bad luck on myself. 😂 I have heard that skull & crossbones symbols on graves Were quite common . As in the 1800s, when a sailor dies they would add a skull & crossbones next to his name in the ships log . As mentioned ,I thought you did a fantastic job On the content of this Vlog 👏 When visiting Whitby I have made my way up the 199 steps to St Mary's Church yard for the breathtaking views of the of the harbour. Me & Mrs K have been inside this beautiful church many times for the lighting of candles for the memories our parents who are sadly no longer with us. The churchyard is also very interesting, reading the names on each of the graves. There are quite a few graves where the poor souls names have worn away due to wind ,rain & cold winter's. I laughed😂 when you mentioned the coffin rest benches, we have rested there when we've been walking up the steps . It definitely hard going in the legs & knees !!.🥵 Not many people, who have sat on these benches Realise that they would have been for this usage. 😂 You're truly blessed to live in such a beautiful coastal town, that is Whitby !! I'm truly jealous !!😢 Chin chin , thanks for sharing my good friend 👍

Another great video! I love being able to 'walk' around Whitby when I can't be there in person :) Can I be cheeky and ask what camera you use for these walking tours? Some of my subscribers have asked for walking tour videos here in Iceland but at the moment my videos are all filmed on my webcam so I need a decent camera but not sure what to look for! Thanks
Sanders Yard is definitely worth a look. It's a real little haven that the people who own the Shepherd's Purse guest house have done it up over the last few years.
