God I'm in love with this video. Your editing is gorgeous and shows so many parallels, and the song makes me cry. These two kill me, especially after season 2. All Yennefer has ever wanted is for someone to truly love and care about her but she's so broken down and I think stuck on her own idea of what that love should look like-the simple adoration and dependency that a baby would give her-that even when Tissaia is *right there* telling her she'd do anything for her, that she's worth more than her magic, that she has something to give the world, Yennefer can't see her love. I wonder if she even realizes the depth of her own love for Tissaia, even after literally running back to Aretuza and then to Sodden just because Tissaia asked (or Yennefer thought she did). I love how they're written, how there's always such clear longing under the posturing and forced emotional distance and how when all the layers of defenses are stripped away there's nothing they wouldn't do for each other. I also can't stop thinking about the fact that Tissaia telling Yennefer "your pain is my pain" is *exactly* what Vilgefortz says to Tissaia episodes later when declaring that he's in love with her. Like, there's no way that whole parallel wasn't intentional. I don't know what to think about Tissaia in the last episode either except that accidentally putting a bounty out on the woman she's loved and protected for decades definitely fits with the horribly tragic irony that seems to surround them TT_TT

This is stunning. Complexity and multi-layeredness of this relationship is more than special… Beautiful and emotional… and at the same time it gives me a bit nostalgic vibe. Yennefer and Tissaia had from my perspective the most interesting energy between each other - pure love and responsibility “your pain is my pain” - strong connection and that means that you can feel exactly the same what feels the second one you love. I seriously wish these two were cannon on screen, like an on/ off relationship full of love and chaos. they have such powerful chemistry and history. Yennefer and Tissaia are drawn to each other. so better suited then Yennefer and Geralt who's relationship was mostly sex and a Djin bond which makes their relationship rather dubious.
