    What to look for if your tractor has little to no reverse, but forward is fine?

    please can you help me out on how to fabricate the motor (engine) only . It for a school project

    Good video but they do not show the port plates. Wihout those the pistons would just keep pushing forward and would break the plate. Meaning All the pistons do not get high pressure if they did it would not rotate. So a second video showing why it keeps rotating at the drive gear end of the pump. As he said you cant compress liquid much so at the furthest extension something needs to release the pressure.

    Interesting image from min 2:55 = can be reverse brake for the rear wheel while the car going forward !?
    Why not put the motor directly on hydro motor ? = min 0:07 Do not more need belt transimision !

      But then you need two separate units (Motor and Pump) and you need minimum two hydraulic hoses from Pump to hydraulic motor, witch are more expensive, than a belt. And a belt is fail save. If it fails, no oil douche in your garden. Additionally, if a hose fails, you need a separate brake, because on a slope the hydraulic motor would turn free. So, a lot of Cons for a installation of the pump near to the engine.
      Sorry that you need to wait 2 years for an answer.. ;-)

    oil is incompressible dude this is hydrostatics

      air is incompressible , oil is hardly compressible but still not incompressible.

    If I didn't already have an understanding of how a closed-circuit hydrostatic drive unit works, this "explanation" would have made little to no sense. I was shocked to realize that the quality of programming on the Science Channel had decayed to this level that long ago...

    total bullshit , oil my friend can indeed be compressed LIKE ALL LIQUIDS. IM SO SICK OF THIS NEW "FAKE SCIENCE TELEVISION" they think because they did it with fake reality they can do it with science, half the shit they tell us is bullshit especially the German crap they show cesium blowing up a toilet then myth busters proved they are all " a bunch of bloody wankas "

      @NOBOX7 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      dlwatib there is no such thing as a incompressible substance by the way, this is just your american academics fooling you again. perhaps do a google search ask google if water is compressible if it tells you no chances are your not on a real physics page keep looking

    • @NOBOX7
      @NOBOX7 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      dlwatib The compressibility of water is a function of pressure and temperature. At 0 °C, at the limit of zero pressure, the compressibility is 5.1×10−10 Pa−1.[30] At the zero-pressure limit, the compressibility reaches a minimum of 4.4×10−10 Pa−1 around 45 °C before increasing again with increasing temperature. As the pressure is increased, the compressibility decreases, being 3.9×10−10 Pa−1 at 0 °C and 100 MPa.
