Sound sucked big time, sorry guys! Enjoy this twist of a vid, I made the subtitles as interesting and coherent as possible! 音質が若干悪いですね、すいません... 日本語の動画、如何でしたでしょうか!
Thanks for taking us on a gallery tour. I didn't know of the Koma Gallery before. Ebisu is so fun with the TOP Museum and Nadiff A/P/A/R/T and Megutama. I'll have to check it out someday. Hope they will have your works on display again. I loved the crosswalk umbrella woman photo. Aloha.
Really fascinating to hear your thoughts behind not just the image selection and sequencing but also how you're taking the physical space and layout of the gallery into consideration. I've never thought about these things before.
I cannot say enough that the time and thought put into the layout of your exhibition is truly appreciated. Like ypu, I enjoy taking photos of varying subject matter, so to see how you put this together is inspiring. You are helping me to ask myself questions I had not considered before. Thank you for sharing your work, and I know that you will continue to grow throughout your photography journey. 😊
The photos were amazing and the video was so relaxing. I really enjoyed this. I don’t even speak Japanese but I could really appreciate the your presentation of your work. Great work as per usual!! Keep up the good work!
The exhibition looks great Ulysses, congratulations! The design work is really sharp, the information panel is beautiful and the square panels are a really nice way of punctuating the flow of images. I've never seen anything quite like that in a photography exhibition, it would be great to see more photographers take a slightly less conventional approach. It makes a big difference that you've paid attention to details like the colour of the matting too. I'm intrigued that you didn't explain the images that were on the ground under plastic wrap, is this how they were exhibited? Would love to get to an exhibition in person in the future but for now thanks for sharing it this way.
I got the Yes reference, but that's because I'm an old, and I have all their vinyl. Great exhibit, that was nice of you to put in the extra work, to share it with us. Stay safe. Peace
Awesome to have an exhibition. Really liked the umbrella shot with what seems to be a missing panel in the umbrella itself that reveals more of the crosswalk.
Awesome exhibition and great that you made this video. It was fun visiting you at the gallery. Looking forward to your next one, but no guarantees I can bring Blue Seal ice cream again, at least in solid form, depending on the location. 😄
I’m proud of you Big homie! It’s been inspiring to watch your growth with photography to where you are today. Congrats on the exhibit and I hope too keep seeing you grow! 😎
Duuuuude. This is it. This is your best video to date. Your detailed explanations and reasoning behind your thought process for the exhibit are great, and there are so many aspects I never would have considered. It’s a small space but your planning really helped to open it up and let the photos “breathe”. Loved the panel idea too! As someone who also has a mixed approach to “street” photos, it was nice to see how you dealt with including all the different subjects. Overall, this was really informative and a fun watch! Congrats again on the exhibit! Are you planning on selling any of the prints?
I think this could be an informative video for hardcore, long-term photogs :) Appreciate it! As mentioned in the end of the vid, I am selling the prints that I used in the gallery, contacting me via email will be the best way
Ah man. I wish I could have gone! And seeing this video makes me wish that even more. Next time you have one, I'll most likely go since I got my second shot 👍. BTW, I'm really liking the Japanese commentary. You seem much more comfortable. Maybe you should do more in the future.
This is awesome! I'm assuming the people who will likely have to miss it due to the 緊急事態宣言 (and having 6 month old twins at home). Thanks for letting me experience your show, looks amazing!

Great to see art displayed in its natural form opposed to social media. Thanks for sharing this with us.
super impressive Ulysses! wish I could go to japan to get a real experience of the gallery, but this will do :)
うわ、行きたかったぁ。でも、動画ありがとうー
傘と横断歩道の写真、すごく素敵です。これは羨ましいww
せっかく日本語でやったのに、コメントが全部英語で凹んでました。有難うございます!笑
this IS the proudest moment of a photographer!

My speaking skills are higher in Japanese as you noticed... food for thought. 🧐
@@UlyssesAokiPhoto if you do more Japanese commentary, it'll give me more chances to improve my listening skills 😆
Congrats Ulysses!🍻
Awesome photo exhibition. Congratulations!
Great exhibition and beautiful photos! So interesting to know about the reasons of sequencing the photo in a physical space! Bravo!
Thank you Lorenzo! I don’t know if I succeeded, but I tried! :)
