I have been waiting for this video. I'm so glad I finally got my P.Louise Bases. I did the Mix N' Match so I was able to pick out 3 shades. To me, it sounded more reasonable in my head due to the shipping be $9.99 I rather get what I ordered instead of just ordering 1 Base. To my surprise, my order got to my house REALLY fast. I agree with the packing then blending. I found with these base and how it’s kinda creamy that if I used too little eyeshadow and tried to blend it kinda moves the primer around and I end up getting patches and fading within a couple of hours. Versus when I gently pack and “set” with my eyeshadows, it’ll last like 8 hours.
Love this tutorial and the colour story. Love your personality too. I've known that you aren't supposed to set P Louise, but I've always swept/brushed the shadow on like standard application, and wondered why it constantly looked patchy and creased A.. , I felt like P Louise just didn't work for me so this is. Only just come across this, so it's (hopefully..!) a game changer for me.

what do i do if my eyelids get really oily and they're hooded snd make the base crease throughout the day? i don't want to powder it because I like how it grabs pigment
i feel like it’s the quality of your eyeshadow. when i use anastasia/makeup revolution palettes my eyeshadow doesnt crease with this base on, but when i use morphe oh boy the creasing is ugly af..
same problem here 😭 and for me it isn't the quality of the eyeshadows i use bc i use it with toofaced, abh,morphe and bh cosemetics palettes and they all crease 😭😭

arianna taylor OOP- i was thinking about getting it because the base i she right now makes my shadow creaselike crazy but NEVERMIND, however I did buy the Anastasia eye primer last night and I tried it and it worked great, it actually sets so if your problem is creasing, I recommend the Anastasia one
@@makeupwithmarlene1231 the new ABH is *SO* much better. As someone who only does makeup in real life,I can say with 100% certainty it is such a better choice. It doesn't take any special technique, it actually dries down enough so you don't have to set AND it is not patchy at all. It makes the eyeshadows pop every bit as much as the PL, without having to tap,tap,tap. You can obviously lol but with the PL if you don't pat the entire time it gets so patchy. The ABH is like the P.Louise perfected. 😂 Honestly. I spent so much money buying all these bases and have been through almost a full tube so I just wanted to share my opinion. Word has it PL will be sold in the US soon so hopefully you'll save money there! Again this is just my humble opinion so I hope not to offend anyone but I honestly wish the ABH was around and someone would have told me!! Enjoy either way though!😉😊❤

I found with my brushes if you wash the ones used in the base with coconut oil it will help with the staining and get the base out of your brush.
