reason why 2ne1 is the most unique kpop group in history: 1. every individual are opposite of each other: age, different girl physical representation, personaLity, voice, charms, talent yet they effectively make every songs and performance unified and oozes with hype. 2. each other weaknesses strengthens each others. 3. they are a total package of a group. 4. they over power in stage presence. 5. they can rock any concept and any genre of songs and still have that swag printed. 6. their popularity never get on their head. 7. they perform like its always their debut. they never loss that passion and energy. 8. i really love the variety of vocal i can hear in all their songs. bom: soulful voice cl: raspy, husky feminine voice minzy: alto sexy, wholesome voice dara: soooo soft, cute and girly voice 9. them disbanding make a hole in kpop industry. 10. i miss them so much as a group.
2NE1 were vastly different than other popular girl groups. They weren't bubblegum pop focused, they didn't fit the Korean beauty standards, there was a large age gap between the members (2 of them closing in on their 30s which is "old" in the industry), they didn't wear the same outfits, etc. 2NE1 showed true individuality in both music and fashion. They were talented and the CRUSH album was just the beginning for them. CL even wrote some of the songs. This was also during the time when the male-dominated industry wouldn't even give the pen to a woman. They were in a league of their own! They didn't need to cater to a male audience and do a girly concept with school uniforms to excel. They stayed true to themselves while helping others appreciate their flaws and true inner beauty. The fact that all this crumbled down over an outdated drug scandal that was proven false a couple years prior is fishy. I believe that it was all a plot to keep their influence of empowering women at bay. Yep, the industry is something else...

I was one of the few people who was upset that 2ne1 won over SNSD. I thought it was because SBS Inki x YG friendship. Now as I look back, I am proud of 2NE1 for winning against SNSD & for putting up an entertaining chart competition. I miss them. This win was legendary and unforgettable. They will always be remembered.
Nowadays people seem to care a lot about physical aspects but i miss those days so bad when BIGBANG AND 2NE1 earned the Kpop industry back then and I still believe they will do! I was one of the few people who was upset that 2ne1 won over SNSD. I thought it was because SBS Inki x YG friendship. Now as I look back, I am proud of 2NE1 for winning against SNSD & for putting up an entertaining chart competition. I miss them. This win was legendary and unforgettable.
