IMO, I'd prefer Muzan over Kokushibo. People disregard Muzan as a villain because he doesn't have any major themes or core ideals that you can discuss and debate over, when that's more or less the point of Muzan. He is just that a demon, cut and dry. He has no rhyme or reason for his actions he just acts, like a living natural disaster, he destroys everything he comes into contact with for no genuine reason. Muzan Isn't supposed to be some fallen warrior like Kokushibo or Akaza who possess a complex backstory and moral reasoning for why they are doing the things they do. Muzan's supposed to be an illogical error in the world that has no right to exist in any logical sense. Muzan is a purely corrosive force, that can only destroy life because that's what a demon essentially is, and the few times Muzan does create life it's out of reluctance and a cause of great pain to the life he creates. I don't understand why anyone would get frustrated when the main overarching DEMON of "DEMON SLAYER" is just a demon in its purest interpretation. Not every single villain has to be some sort of Griffith or Vader. Is it nice to have an insightful antagonist in comparison to the protagonist? Yes, but sometimes it's just fun to have a straightforward evil for the sake of evil villain.
tl;dr: Muzan is a demon and demons are pure evil.

you should learn about character dynamics as well as symbolism for a better analysis
also kokushibo didn't really hate yoriichi nor did he keep resenting him till the end, as evident by the fact that he kept the flute,
his final dialogues was simply him lamenting about his and questioning his existence and his purpose, as well as if the current him is what he really wanted himself to be, he finally realized that he didn't want any of what he had, there was not a shred of hatred in in his final toughts
    your analysis was completely incorrect
and since i'm too lazy to write anything for now
i'll copy an old comment of mine
""""""""Icarus, drawn by his desire to to reach the heavens, tried to reach and devour the sun, lost himself in the process and ignored his father's warnings, then failed and burnt his wings causing him to fall to his demise
    See the similarities here?
Who is the sun, and who is the icarus?
    And the dynamic between them
Do you see what I mean?
Yoriichi and Kokushibo share the same dynamic exept it was presented in a more humane way as a brother envious of his twins overwhelming talent and losing himself and everything in the process
Kokushibo tried to reach him and he abandoned everything in the process
He did everything in order to catch up and reach the sun that is yoriichi but, just like the icarus,he obtained nothing and lost himself while trying
Even 400 years, he stated that he couldn't see the world he was seeing, he is still frustrated and while he forgot everyone he ever loved he remembers him, someone who he really wants to forget as clear as day and still longs to surpass him
Kokushibo's motivations are way more realistic, and way more solid, they are more human and they have different characteristics and concepts applied to them, which i’m yet to explain.
His motivation was his jeoulousy, that jealousy becae envy, which soon turned to obsession, and it made him broken.
his story os that of a flawed human whose bsession to reach for the impossible,as in the sun broke him, it blinded him into bleiving that he hated his brother, and it destroyed him both physically and emotionally
what makes the writing even more fascinating is the mazing dynamic between the twins, it’s the best dynamic i’ve ever seen
Yoriichi changed him, he affected his growth mentality and all the activities he ever did were based on their dynamic, that is the one between the sun and the icarus, yoriichi's existence itself dictated how Michikatsu developed and grew, he was the reason he abandoned his home and family and became a demon hunter, he was the reason why he abandoned his humanity and became a demon, he dedicated his entire life into reaching yoriichi's level due to his obsession, he could never forget his face even after centuries and he still very vividly remember him, and even centuries, he couldn't reach yoriichi's level nor could he see the world he was seeing, be accomplished nothing and abandoned everything, and thereby he lost everything.
His character itself is based on the foundation that he is always trying to reach the sun, but he never could and all these factors and the way the way executed and presented is the reason he is better written than most new gen shonen""""""""""""""
too lazy to continue(and there is a LOT more to talk about) but your analysis wasn't really accurate, not in the slightest lmao
not hating on the vid btw
    also loved the fan fic

I think I was limited because I only had “Joke head cannon video” in the mind. If I hadn’t done that, perhaps it could’ve been more that way, still I should learn more about symbolism. I do appreciate that comment, good sir 🤝

@@TalonTalks no problem, people who genuinely analyze characters instead just calling them "1D poorly written" just because they don't like them are always welcome

You should make full fanfiction on this because it is such a good idea and it fits thematically with kokushibou as a character
