This screenplay is fantastic. Adding the bit with the bad guy businessman just wanting to get home to his mother added a poignancy and depth to what we all thought was a a stock, cold and cruel businessman. Either he was scared and wanted to get home to his mother as an emotional regression (thus all his actions would be like a child lashing out just to find a refuge) or he was cruel and cold yet cared more about his mother's safety and being there for her protection that he would stop at nothing to achieve that goal. I personally think it was the former and there, with a single line of dialog, the villain becomes humanized. I love this movie.
28:08 It just showed in a slow motion that's why we assumed that there's time for the old woman to get in the another car but in the original speed the whole situation happened in just a second. She decided to be the last to get in even though she knows they have no more time. She made herself a distraction to the zombies for Gong Yoo's character be able to close the door in the right time. That's why her sister keep questioning what's the point of saving those people in the car, seeing their selfishness.

not sure if someone else has said this already but i heard that the original ending was supposed to have the selfish business man being the only one to survive bc thats more likely to happen in real life even if its not what we want but the writers figured that him dying would be more satisfying LOL
I understand. If he had lived though, it would have changed the entire theme of the film. From selflessness, to selfishness. Although it is the most realistic.
@@Raine-97 I'd say that would actually be less realistic. The reality is that selfishness only gets you so far, because in the end, humans can't live without each other's support. You can go online and look up the train route for the train to Busan. It travels across South Korea from the northwest corner to the southeast corner of the country. It would be the equivalent of a train that goes from Washington State to Florida... Except of course South Korea is much smaller than the United States so it is only a day trip.

To answer your question about whether his company was directly involved in the outbreak so they funded parts of the biotech company which was shown at the beginning of the film, but when things started going south the leak hence when he was looking at the computer the biotech leak was causing a lot of problems so they pulled out funding which in turn didn’t help to control the leak causing things to get out of hand, the symbolism was correct though when he was washing the blood of his hands because of his company he both theoretically and realistically had blood on his hands from the outcome of the leak and for the deaths/zombies caused because of the leak, when you said he saw himself in the business guy he directly saw what his selfishness had been like he saw himself and his past actions in the businessman and the soon to be father boss man he saw what he wanted to be like

New subscriber here!Train to Busan...I love this movie!I have watched a lot of reactions to this movie in the past and I have to say that yours the best reaction I have seen. I loved your comments and the way you were inmmersed in the story.I'm happy I found your channel.
Thank you so much!
forgotten is another GREAAAT korean movie, very unpredictable twist
I think the alternate ending for this one is they actually got shot but the director decided to change it last minute
great casting, great acting and a lot of action and emotion
You can go online and look up the train route for the train to Busan. It travels across South Korea from the northwest corner to the southeast corner of the country.
It would be the equivalent of a train that goes from Washington State to Florida... Except of course South Korea is much smaller than the United States so it is only a day trip.
Ma dong seok (Don Lee) He is the Gilgamesh of 'The Eternals'
oh, yes
another train to busan reaction clip
yay for that 🤘
31:39 yes, the subtitle matched for what they are saying, they were really involved for the cause of the outbreak
That one woman you said looked like a younger person dressed up to be older, the actress is Park Myung-shin and she was 52 when this movie was filmed. some people just keep looking young even as they age lol. My father is in his 90's and still looks like he's in his 60's 😲
When juggernaut dad was telling his wife to go without him, he was calling the baby's name not hers.
Edit: the zombie's movements were directed to dance pop and lock and bone breaking to give the impression that their bodies were moving on impulse.
That makes sense!
I really was waiting for you to notice the colours, considering that it's also the colours of the Korean flag :)
Boiled egg and sprite is a common snack they eat during train trips or small trips in south korea i guess its a cultural thing ive seen it in so many movies and series
Now I have another reason to fear down-going escalators! Been afraid of them since I was 10 and almost fell down one in L.A.
Su-An Kim should've won acting awards. 😤
This movie makes me wonder if Alive and Train To Busan take place around the same time
When I went to Korea, I took the high-speed train from Seoul to Busan. You can imagine the jokes during the trip :)
my test on whether someone has a heart or any humanity in them is if they tear up at all during this movie. you pass my friend haha great reaction! 😃
Last thing I would expect from a reaction to Busan would be a lieutenant hiro reference - well done!
I used to love Terrahawks! But my favourite was Starfleet/XBomber :D
@@CinobiteReacts Oh X-Bomber was great! And I really prefer those designs and that type of puppet from what we got in Terrahawks. Still like Terrahawks though... Stu Dapples lives!
So good :) Great reaction, bro!
Glad you enjoyed it!
OMG! I just figured it out now! The main character is like Lady MacBeth with the hand washing scenes
This film is a heavy commentary to society too
“She should look happier” …well, it’s an early bird train and she’s all of 7 or 8 years old and with her dad whom she knows she’s a bother to.
Good point!
"It would be great if there's baby zombie coming through the lady stomach"
I never think off it but yeah 😅🤣
If you see that crazy man holding his arm and the dad thinks he’s bitten
Ohhh wow I never realize about the color now I can't unsee it
It's the colours of the Korean flag as well! All of the best films have a great colour theme :)
Just an fyi: The big bad ass dude in this movie (Don Lee aka Ma Dong-Seok), is playing Gilgamesh in the new Eternals movie by Marvel.
I like to refer the two older ladies as my Mom and my Aunt Patsy
The best zombie movie period!
Yessss!
Brilliant film and this is my first watch with you so il edit at the end lol
i love your reaction, and u were so spot on with alota things
the woman you said looked yound was Park Myung Shin, born 1964
It's really the hair. It looks like a bad costume shop wig you put on someone to play an old lady.
i feel like u about to cry you're eyes are so watery-
One of my favorite movies 💜💜
5:20 If you've watched the squid game, they give participants a boiled egg and soda which is a common combo for a train ride in south korea.
Oh I did! After watching Train to Busan, so I got excited when I saw the eggs and soda because I'd learnt about it on here :)
Busan is a coastal city which might be why that guy wanted to go there so bad, so that they could all get out of Korea, well, knowing that guy, so he could get out of Korea.
To answer your question about whether his company was directly involved in the outbreak so they funded parts of the biotech company which was shown at the beginning of the film, but when things started going south the leak hence when he was looking at the computer the biotech leak was causing a lot of problems so they pulled out funding which in turn didn’t help to control the leak causing things to get out of hand, the symbolism was correct though when he was washing the blood of his hands because of his company he both theoretically and realistically had blood on his hands from the outcome of the leak and for the deaths/zombies caused because of the leak, when you said he saw himself in the business guy he directly saw what his selfishness had been like he saw himself and his past actions in the businessman and the soon to be father boss man he saw what he wanted to be like
I fell asleep the night I was watching your video so I had to comment this in daylight, lol. 😂 But the way your eyes go “now from the top, make it drop” to catch up with what the subtitles are saying was too funny because that was so relatable. 🤣🤣 You have such welcoming persona and I don't feel that a lot from other commentary channels as some of them seem cocky and arrogant. Your new subscriber here and I am wishing more growth for your channe!
Oh thank you so much :) I'm glad you enjoyed the video
Korean movies are awesome tbh
Just found your channel. Love the reactions and movie choices. New sub, looking forward to more of your videos.
May the YT algorithm god's bless this channel. XD
Thanks for the sub!
French movie called The Horde in French or English dub or English subtitles available and you'll like the movie
Big guy recently joins marvel movie.
I recommend an occult movie called 'The Wailing'. This movie was also invited to the Cannes Film Festival.
40:13 totally agree with you for me the perfect ending is the same but i guess they prefered to be a little more optimistic
The best Zombies Movie of all time
Koreans do short series they call dramas. Crash Landing on You would be a good one. Also Kingdom which is a Korean historic zombie short series.
Of course its South Korea. The DPRK doesn’t do these kinds of things. Lol
Hi! New Subscriber here. ^^
Just want to say thanks for the great reaction, I truly enjoyed it.
I will add a handful or so of my top Korean movies which I hope you can at some point find the time to watch and maybe react to.
- Pandora
- Flu
- The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil ( With Ma Dong-Seok )
- I saw the devil
- Peninsula (Sequel taking place four years after Train to Busan.)
- Recalled
- Rampant (I do recommend watching this before Kingdom. No, they are not related but they are both Zombie films taking place in a historical time period in Korea. So if you aren't familiar with historical Korea it might help. Just a thought. )
- Kingdom ( This is a Netflix original and puts the walking dead to shame.)
- Kingdom: Ashin of the North (Watch the first two seasons of Kingdom first.)
Thanks for the sub! and the list!
@@CinobiteReacts Not a problem! Thanks for the great content!
I recommend to watch some more korean cinema like A bittersweet life, The Handmaid, The Wailing, Oldboy, I saw the devil… Koreans are masters of revenge and horror.

Thanks for the idea!
@@CinobiteReacts one tip for watching animated jappanese movies - prepare few tissues :P
Ma Dong Seok is going to be in Marvels Internals
They probably hired him because he is a God :D
@@CinobiteReacts he plays a badass in most of his movies, check out the outlaws and unstoppable. He's awesome in both those movies.
31:15
You're thinking too much! 😂
🤣🤣
Good brail question
35:43 I think that is the whole point of his character, a homeless guy, someone that always get looked down on, just a no-name but have more moral than someone with high up possition in society like that dick in this movie.
Sub or dub… it absolutely matters!
It usually depends when I'm watching, in the day usually subs, in bed at night usually dubs :)
New subscriber here. Please watch Escape from New York, Fright Night, and Glengarry Glen Ross next. Also The Last Dragon. Thanks.
brail? maybe signs? Subway has all English too broadcast for stops too. If u have app u will be able to travel most transportation in South Korea
In Oxford, England the trains all do English and Japanese!
Eggs only smell if you boil them for too long.
the grandma zombie looks rather lost, it's sad ;;
I liked and comment
