I don't know if this would work for the king cobra, just taking it off that you said he was a bit calmer when he had eye caps, but do you think tinted film for car windows would work for the the king? So you'd get the dark tint 5% and place the dark side on the in side of the kings glass so it's harder for the king to see out, but you view would be a bit darker but clear enough to to see him. Have you ever considered trying to release those cobras when the boarders open up. That would be dope. Saw Dingo release some black mambas because of that reason. Hitting the glass to much.
I totally agree with what ur saying with the racks I have a friend that has a cobra and his face is marked up from hitting his face on the glass and refuses to put it into a rack.
