The first several times we gave her first rope to her, we said "Rope!" She made the association within a few minutes and then we reinforced it whenever she played with it. Jindos seem to learn commands so quickly. It's amazing to watch.

I would love to own a Korean Jindo dog. If I could own a Korean Jindo; I would name her Kim. That is due to the fact that "Kim" is the most common surname for people who are of Korean ancestry; much like how "Nguyen" is the most common surname for people who are of Vietnamese ancestry.
My family used to have a Jindo, for some reason it was black and white patch on the chest, even tough it was a pure breed. Well anyways that dog really is beautiful, and they're really hyper all the time thats what I like about them.

This is somewhat of a myth. Jindo's are very intelligent dogs and they tend to respond with caution unlike, say, labradors that respond with curiousity. It doesn't really matter what age you get a Jindo, as long as they're properly trained they make fine house pets and are actually people friendly. The problem is other animals so try to socialize them as early as possible. One last thing, don't let them get bored. ^^
Any dogs can be brutal whatever their breeds are. It really depends on early socialization that dogs receive or lack there of. Traditionally Jindos were not bred to be in-house pets but to be hunters in Korea and may have more feral qualities than western dogs. However, Jindos can easily overcome it if they are socialized properly. So eventually it really depends on owners. Also, Jindos can learn to like other people, too. It may take an hour rather than 20 minutes but give them a chance.
i also have a korean jindo got her from a shelter where i live best dog ive ever had couldnt for the life of me figure out the breed at first thought she was a akita then a shiba inu. got lucky cause they are very rare here in canada but love her to death stubborn and hard to train gotta be firm and mean what u say then they turn into the best dogs ever.

I mean, these things were bred to hunt tigers a while back! I think they're still used for hunting boar. Anyway, glad to hear you're enjoying life with a great dog. ^^
my jindo looks identical to yours (other than the fact that mine's male) as mrnightowl mentioned earlier, its amazing to see how the mannerisms are perfectly identical! great dogs, very fun, and really good looking!
I have a Jindo and she kind of acts like a cat, because she'll just be lazy and sleep all day, and act like she doesn't care about what's happening. xD But she's actually really affectionate and sweet. I love her to death. :'3
They are very low maintenance inside the house because they are respectful of boundaries. My dog clearly understands what belongs to her and doesn't and where she is allowed and where she isn't. However, outside the house, it's a different story.
진돗개 맞네요. 인터넷에 외국인들이 진돗개 닮은 개를 키우면서 진돗개라고 하는 경우가 많던데 이 개는 정말 진돗개군요.

Yeah, I haven’t taught my jindo any tricks but I can very easily teach it different things, like “eat” when I put food in front of him.

@@user-gf7wm8tj4v 서양에서는 진돗개 순종 자체가 만나기 힘든 견종이라 순종끼리의 교배도 어렵죠. 그래서 비슷하게 생긴 말라뮤트나 시베리아 허스키와 진도를 교배하는 경우가 많은가 보더라구요. 순종 백구와 교배하면 이런 녀석이 나오나봐요.
몇년만에 다시 보네..이 아이는 지금 세상에 없겠지😭 동물들 수명이 너무 짧다
