I can't believe it!!!! First time I heard this song I thought "This is a song for a future Osmar's routine!" and I was right, perfect song for their style and great energy as always! With Yamuleé, you can't go wrong! I just want to make a little comment on the absence of Karel. I think we can all agree that we can feel her absence a little, it's undeniable, she was Osmar's partner for almost 10 years, but the same thing happened when Candy Mena left Yamuleé (almost 10 years ago!), we felt her absence and Karel had to face a constant Karel vs Candy comparison. I think as wasn't easy for her it's not easy now for the girls (I mean the comparison with Karel, 'cause they are marvelous dancers of course!), but really quickly Karel managed to made us forget about Candy 'cause she grew up with a unique and personal style. Now I think even if Karel made a brand/style always refered to Yamuleé, it won't take long to get used to her absence and for a girl (Delia!) to rise as Karel did (or maybe better who knows!), anyway to me Yamuleé are impressive and never miss a beat, pushing forward one routine after another, so congratulations to them! And thank for sharing the video, I hope to see the routine live when they come to Italy in May!
Ayelen Carneiro In the beginning is Esta vida loca by Francisco Céspedes and the second is Volare an Italian song by Domenico Modugno played by Cortijo y Su Combo with Ismael Rivera!
Robert Williams LOL!!! Thank you for taking the time for setting me straight. Apparently after 10 years in the Mambo scene I've COMPLETELY forgotten the fundamentals of the basics and techniques. Again Thank you for setting me straight. But then again your man and you don't do styling but us women we like to see it so maybe we can incorporate it in our dancing. Again I thank you for setting me straight!
Wendy Garza, you need to have a little more respect for the dancing profession. Do you even have an idea of what it means to be a dancer, the sacrifices they have to make to perform? Dancing is for everyone, I always appreciate a constructive critic, but I am discussed at your racist comment. Tu muy bonita no?
good Stuff!!!!! Yamulee and Santo Rico will always be true mambo.....Thanks for keeping mambo alive in NY.
