I love seeing your mind work and your language progressing through your relationship with David. It’s so cute seeing you two learn together and how you make such an effort and he supports you and aids with some words when you’re struggling. Having a boyfriend who speaks a language you’re learning is so helpful. It reminds me of my studies in Spain. I am living vicariously through you in these times. Sidenote: this is my first TH-cam comment ever ha ha. Love your videos.❤️
Hey Shannon, I went through exactly the same with my boyfriend! He helped me learn Italian and it has been so much fun. Btw, if you're interested, I have a TH-cam channel where we post videos from London and other places where I travel
They do look very cute and comfortable together I have to say! Btw if you're looking for something to watch, I also have a channel with vlogs from London and other places whenever I get to travel
I have literally been watching your videos for like 5 days straight. Thank you so much for the virtual vacation! ❤️❤️❤️ (and I downloaded a Spanish learning app because of you!) love from Colorado! 🙏
Ahh this is awesome! When I started watching the previous video, this video wasn't here and as I finished it, you posted this one! So can continue straight away! The best timing :D
guuuuurllll, you are SPOILING US! 🙌🏼 You've inspired me to book a trip to Mexico with my boyfriend for later this year (dependant on COVID). I miss Central America so much, it was the first place I backpacked solo and seeing all the incredible local food and scenery in this series has me super nostalgic
When you have some time left... can you do a video where you describe how you decide what do to in a new place? Are you watching YT, using Instagram? Or do you mostly just go an see whats going to happen? And how do you find these cool non-touristic spots?
It is so cool to hear you speak Spanish! I am learning Dutch at the moment so every time there are subtitles I pause and think - can I also say this in Dutch? - and then say it out loud and it makes me happy that I am getting better at the language
San Cristobal de las Casas is really worth it to visit this colonial city, because there are many amazing things to do not only in the city but also outside the city limits.
your videos are keeping me sane during the 3rd lockdown in the UK! i got yor bumbag and towel for christmas, I'm meant to be traveling now but it's had to be posponed! so i am living my travel life through your videos!!
Recently moved back into uni accommodation and am now stuck by myself :( loving your content and the regular uploads are such a nice surprise lol. It’s great to see you thriving despite everything that’s going on ❤️
omggg loved watchig this as I went there twice during my 2 months in Mexico! Love how mixed it is! So much offer! Some of the best pastry shops too! Also that last garden coffee shop is a dream! Magical in the summer months! Thanks for sharing your trip with us
Loving seeing so many videos from you! I actually feel like I'm actually learning some more Spanish (I've been trying to learn for ages!) from watching your videos at the moment so it's great cause it makes me feel like I can justify binge watching your most recent content haha!
Totally!! But she also looks very comfortable and happy with him, so I'm glad to see that :) Btw if you're looking for something to watch, I also have a channel with vlogs from London and other places whenever I get to travel
Loving these frequent vlogs, they make lockdown just that little bit better! Where do you get your lovely swimwear from? The yellow swim set that you wore in your Greece vlogs are sooo nice - plus your sports bralette things too! I need them in my life! x
I lived in San Cristóbal and other parts of Chiapas for a while as a missionary. I got sick a lot while I was there lol, but I miss it sometimes. Also I miss tascalate. That stuff is only in Chiapas and better than horchata
with everywhere closed looking to backpack for 8ish days in Mexico and wondering about its like with hostels and things being being open during this covid craziness
If you want to see the real Mexico, you should come to Guanajuato city, is a colonial city, looks like spain. Or San Miguel de Allende is colonial too. Oaxaca have the best food in México, and Mexico city has everithyng, prehispanic culture, colonial architecture, and modern and tall buidngs..
You’re spoiling us with these consistent posts 🤩🤩
Trying my best 🥳🥳

i'd be interested to know the differences you feel travelling with david... do you feel 'safer'? would you have gone to all the same spots?
That's a good question, would love to know as well! Personally, whenever I travel with my boyfriend I always feel safer, no matter where I am :)
I'd like to know too please 🙂
we do know if she feels safe, but she seems soo happy
And David seems like such a gentle giant - bloody love him! I think he's a keeper 😍😋
Pretty sure he wants a passport.
@@ARCTERYXSWEATSHOP that's very rude
You and David are so cute, I love how he films you, you can just tell you feel so comfortable and supported around him. Happy for you!! :)

She was doing ok until the very end with the word ‘jaguar 🐆 ‘. David, que onda, dile cómo se dice esta palabra, no seas gacho😀
This is a little random but I appreciate the graphics you add to the vlogs! It adds something extra from the usual travel vlogs
All of these posts omg we are being so spoilt !! San Cristobal de la Casas looks so beaut
Hope to continue spoiling 🙈🙈
@@BackpackingBananas I'm excited already!! 🥳🙈
I really like David’s filming style. Very 90s home video! Captured the moment to perfection.

San Cristobal de Las Casas was my favourite stop during my 2 months in South Mexico! Absolute class town!
24 hours is not enough for such a great location. I love San Cristobal de las Casas
There are so many places in Mexico that I've never heard of but look amazing like this! Thanks for sharing!
San Cristobal de las Casas is one of our favourite places in Mexico. It has such a nice atmosphere. :)

Really wanna make it to San Cristobal de la Casas on my next trip to Mexico! I love the quaint feeling and colourful buildings, very picturesque!
Everything looks so fun. My favorite thing especially while traveling is sweets and coffee, a true necessity.
You know he likes you when he offers to switch drinks with you. what a gentleman.
aw that was so cute! 'Do you want to switch?' haha give it six more months, you'll take that offer in no time haha
When you have some time left... can you do a video where you describe how you decide what do to in a new place? Are you watching YT, using Instagram? Or do you mostly just go an see whats going to happen? And how do you find these cool non-touristic spots?
wooooow. 😱😱😯😯what a beautiful small little town.
It is so cool to hear you speak Spanish! I am learning Dutch at the moment so every time there are subtitles I pause and think - can I also say this in Dutch? - and then say it out loud and it makes me happy that I am getting better at the language

Watching on break at work today! It’s a nice escape to see someone traveling (safely) right now. I can’t wait to get back out and travel myself! 🥰

with everywhere closed looking to backpack for 8ish days in Mexico and wondering about its like with hostels and things being being open during this covid craziness
Things are closing and changing all the time and differently all over the country so unfortunately it’s impossible to say
You have so much confidence speaking Spanish. I know this is the key to learning more but I get to Spain and I'm mute 😂 Very impressive.
I love San Cristobal.
I'm getting Travis Fimmel vibes from this guy. Looks the part but also has that silent cool guy swag to him.
Very cute town. It reminds me a lot of Ouro Preto in Minas Gerais.
Mmmmmm, tacos!!! 🌮
Love the Spanglish!
Me too hahah reminded me of how I speak to my boyfriend! we speak in a mix of Italian and English
I’m jealous.. looks amazing 😍

The most common day for museums to be closed is Monday ☹️
i love how he says you let him win. such a good boyfriend hahaha
It looks a lot quieter than when I was there in March. Do you think that's due to COVID or something else?
I also would like to know about the tourism situation with Covid in Chiapas!! I want to go there in february.
You should bring him to Colombia
