Thanks Nobiko! Is perilla leaf the same as shiso? Yes, it is very oishi to eat it with beef. I see Koreans eat it with their food all the time too. Harder to find in the US but most Japanese and Korean markets will have them. I will IG you some things if that’s ok! 😬

I’m now in Hashimoto (Wakayama) and had yakitori wrapped in green shiso and topped with ume. So oishi. I like shiso best with sashami though. 😊 I will try sending more pictures and my stay at Kii Katsuura! I loved Hotel Urashima!

Thanks Nobiko! Is perilla leaf the same as shiso? Yes, it is very oishi to eat it with beef. I see Koreans eat it with their food all the time too. Harder to find in the US but most Japanese and Korean markets will have them. I will IG you some things if that’s ok! 😬

Shiso leaves and shiso leaves are the same thing, just with different names☺

I’m now in Hashimoto (Wakayama) and had yakitori wrapped in green shiso and topped with ume. So oishi. I like shiso best with sashami though. 😊 I will try sending more pictures and my stay at Kii Katsuura! I loved Hotel Urashima!

雨の日の方が魚たちが活発な気がします。友人曰く、雨の日は、気圧が下がるので浮袋が膨れて魚が浮いてくるのだそうです。なるほどとも思いますし、海中から人影が見えないので魚に見切られにくいと言うのも有るんじゃないかとわたしはおもいました。
先日はピカ天で足元まで２～３匹のカンパチの子供が追いかけてきたのですが、私の姿を見て逃げて行ってしまいました。
