    Mort had a great mind and he actually cared.

    It feels like there’s more AIR, and cleaner air, when this man tells us what’s in his mind. And in his heart. Truth and laughter and honor change the chemistry of everything.

    What a shock that Mort Sahl and Roger Ailes would appear in the same show and that Ailes was as big (literally and figuratively) a jerk way back then as he was in later years.

    Funny? Really? In his autobiography, Woody Allen extols him. Huh ?

      He's "witty" which can only be appreciated if you possess the requisite intelligence.

    What is his leaning?

    • @videoburns1
      @videoburns1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mort was an equal opportunity social critic, his only real political leaning was that he leaned heavily against hypocrisy.

      @@videoburns1 Sahl was on Joe Kennedy's Top 60's Hit List, Numero Uno victim without equal, speaking his mind, forfeiting his career as Jack's Court Jester, but getting the last laugh, taking it on the chin, not letting it get under his skin, let alone into his Head. R.I.P Mort Sahl, Sardonic 'n Savvy, A Cut above 'n beyond the Box, outside the Pale.

      Too much truth for you? [During the Vietnam war] - "All the Republicans were in the National Guard (Presumably to avoid going to Vietnam) and all the Democrats were in Canada." - Much applause & laughter.
      But I guess you hate hearing ANY exaggerations, either of what you hate, or of what is true.
      But, to be somewhat fair to you, I don't know which parts (Surely not ALL of it ?!?!) seem pathetic. I've only watched 7 of the 51 minutes so far.
