Girl don’t feel bad….your hair looks BEAUTIFUL! it takes me 2hrs as well…..but I honestly don’t retwist enough to really improve my speed…🤷🏾♀️…anything is better than detangling loose hair and prepping it…in my book. ❤❤
Okay so I've only been three days locked my loctician use the water n oil method which I love because you got to keep it natural and simple but after I got my hair lock for the first time I was like okay what do now acting like I got a brand new hairstyle. Not me acting like I don't know what to do 😂 when I came across your Channel I was like yes my fellow Jamaican sister I feel comfortable with you watching your channel you giving me inside on having starter Locs especially being a brand new sister in a community I appreciate your Channel
My last retwist was a water and only retwist. It lasted about two weeks (until I washed my hair). I’m definitely doing it again. I like that my hair wasn’t as sticky and heavy feeling.
Oh wow! I personally think two weeks is actually a good amount of time for a retwist to last, especially if it’s just water & oil being used. I’m glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Hi I just came across and subscribed to your channel. I did starter locs (finger coiled) on my 18 yr old son a month ago. I washed and retwisted it last week. I was just wondering if you continued using water and oil only to do your retwists? Finished look was too cute by the way!
Do you sit under a dryer or do you let them air dry. I normally just air dry. But i wanna try a retwist woth just oul soni wanna know if i should use a dryer or is it personal preference?
@@jacklocnlife95 it depends. I try my best to air dry them but if it’s a situation where I ended up doing my hair later in the day and there’s not enough time for them to be fully air dried before going to bed then I’ll sit under the dryer!

Thank you!! I’m not sure how people can do a retwist in an hour 😭 but what’s most important is that you take your time to avoid damage !! ❤️❤️
Depends on how many locs you have and what type of maintenance you're tryna achieve.
