I beat this Quest by using borrowed Merlin mash and Anastasia with 1 apply guts in it and koyanskaya with 1 apply guts barghest and lastly morgan she the last one standing while others have died in the end

Isnt like Medea Supossed to remove the "Die with me buff"? I hear people talking about it, but it doesnt work for me

It does but It is after hit not before, so you can't kill to get rid of the die with me buff, you have to let him live
