I was stuck chasing fame and fortune
I didn’t realise that it was vanity alone
Then I found out that was distortion
Jesus saved me, and brought me home
When I needed someone to hold my hand
You came and lift me high, out of quicksand
Saved me from the firestorm's dome
You Jesus brought me safely home
I'm calling out
Don't know what to do
Jesus I need your grace
Who are each morning new
Help me to kneel down and pray

Light of the world

Caught in flash and empty cheers
