*Perfect and I’ve used it for ballon arches as **enjoyable.fishing** recommend well as other decor with parties. It is strong and will hold up well. It works so good that another decorator stole my roll at an event!*
I watched your video a few times to make darn sure of what I'm doing and I made the tool and it came out just perfect. What an ingenious idea for a tool and handy to have, Thank You.
Don't think I will try to make this but the bonus tip will definitely go on my online shopping list. I have a terrible habit of dropping freshly painted or epoxied lures so thanks for reminding us of this golden oldie.
Fantastic idea. I have looking for finding a similar product for years and now I only find it. One the best fishing tool that everybody should have one. I am very happy that I found this video clip. The quality of description is fantastic
Great idea. Thank you for shareng it with us. I can use these clamps to also hold the screen on the lures for painting. Being stainless steal, they will be easy to clean off the paint.
Thank you for creative idea that sparks an idea to me to make affordable and customizable long shank hooks for Macro fishing hooks ( no more loss fish)
Wow ... this is another great video from a great thinker. I will be making this tool as soon as the hemostats I ordered get in. Can’t way to see the next gadget video. Thanks
you did it to me now I have to make one myself I using a vice grip and pliers for mine they do work to yes who does not have surgical pliers on hand yes hemostat my stepdad was a surgeon yeap NEVER had to buy any of them too laughing had some never closed right have few boxes of them to bend the handle to tight them up too yes they are wonder to paint you lures with too
Wow . sir thank you for that tip on making a little tool . That would be very useful to me . Keep up the good work your new friend . and subscriber from Austin Texas.
cool tool nice tool making is one of my favorite interests would be cool if you come up with a swivel making tools and progress cant wait till i watch your next vid 👍🌹🍺
Just got into making my own lures and your channel has been very helpful indeed. Thanks for the great ideas and awesome content. Cheers from Adelaide, South Australia. 👍
Its possible....but really difficult. Ive made some from spring steel stainless but only because I wanted some 1/2 inch diameter. Anything smaller and you need a custom jig made frome hardened steel...not worth it.
very cool, many thanks for fulfilling our wish and showing the making of this incredible tool. i detroyed a lot of clamps until waiting for this tutorial. we need a nick name for this thing. in german-speaking „drahtschneckenhakenwerzeug“ is to long 😂
Always fun to hear from you keep up the good work It's not easy to drill stainless steel what type of drill bit do you use high-speed low-speed, titanium, Cobalt, High Speed carbon?
I have looked and looked on TH-cam for a DYI wire twisting tool for making spinners. Tack-L-Tool is the closest simple wire twisting tool I've found. The problem with it is it creates too big of a loop for my taste. I the loop were smaller, it would be perfect. It's hard on the hands to use round nosed pliers and using my fingers to wrap the wire close to the eye. The crank on the the Tack-L-Tools for twisting part section close to the eye is preferred. Could you come up with something that would work like your wire snelled hook tool that would work for creating small spinners, like the Mepps or the Panther Martin? If anyone can do it, it's you. You're awesome!
I I have a couple of designs I've been playing with But I've got limited time and the prototype would take me a bit of effort and cost. But I'll get around to it.
You can find ss wire in straight segments up to 24 inch lengths pretty easily. The best bet is to Google stainless steel wire and find the best price you can. I've been using orthodonture wire for a while it's actually at a decent price.
Make you a deal? Ill fund future videos like this if i can have the tools used in the videos. This is a great idea the problem for me is finding the time to accomplish them. I have enough of a problem finding time to fish at this point.
I'm like you, time is my most precious resource and I wish I had more of it to build more stuff and do more fishing. Glad you found the video interesting...cheers.
Nice design on this tool , works perfectly. I'd be careful when your wife cuts your hair, I hope you have been treating her right with all the BS going on, not easy being together 24/7 🤪I'm just letting my hair grown . Now off to find my hemostat to try this. Stay Safe out there.
Hey, I would like you to make me one of the new super duper down shoot, side shoot, show me where to cast, gps , spot locking, Espresso making fish locators for $300. I would be your business-manager and product tester.

Pretty good job...as always
That's awesome ......let me ask you where can I buy that kind of wire
I usually just do a search for stainless steel straight wire. Availability, size and price vary so much I don't stick to a single vendor.
Just got into making my own lures and your channel has been very helpful indeed. Thanks for the great ideas and awesome content. Cheers from Adelaide, South Australia. 👍

Pretty damn slick!
Hi there love your vids, wanna ask you, is it possiable to make your own split rings?
Its possible....but really difficult. Ive made some from spring steel stainless but only because I wanted some 1/2 inch diameter. Anything smaller and you need a custom jig made frome hardened steel...not worth it.

I like the idea of a nickname how about, hemosneller, or snellostats or pinchytwisty thingy...Thanks for watching.
Engineered Angler yeah let's collect suggestions and vote...spriralclamp, aterialsnake
Nice job help me out have you ever seen the ( hook on ) wire winder besides the pat number 2253983 I don’t know how to use it, there’s more to it?
Sorry...I've never seen it. The manufacturer must have info on line.
Always fun to hear from you keep up the good work
It's not easy to drill stainless steel what type of drill bit do you use high-speed low-speed, titanium, Cobalt, High Speed carbon?
That cheap chinese stainless drills like butter....no need for anything special

Great idea, do you think this would work to make the loop for a spinner instead of purchasing an very expensive tool
I think it might work...but I havn't tried it.
Very nice!
Thanks!
Cool video. Send me that little tool
They're easy to make...
love it thank you
Nice Haircut
You like it?...The wife has a vested interest , she does a good job
It's obvious not to use rolled wire. Is it all welding wire? Where can I buy it?
You can find ss wire in straight segments up to 24 inch lengths pretty easily. The best bet is to Google stainless steel wire and find the best price you can. I've been using orthodonture wire for a while it's actually at a decent price.
can that steel knot handle shark?
The wire twist can handle 300lbs but the hook would fail long before...
Can this come undone or just simply snap?
both...if the load is enough
Thank you... that's it.. just thank you.
You're very welcome
Great idea! Making one up tonight. What diameter wire are you using on that 4/0 hook?
For the spinner baits I use .035 in diameter wire with the 4/0 hook.
@@EngineeredAngler Thxs, looking forward to trying that!
Youre the coolest

I like the espresso maker part....
Not strong for big game fish
This was not a big game video. It is a bass spinnerbait video
Doesn't the hook come loose when forced?
The hook will straighten before the twists will
