- Two looks very similar in spec. Is Zeppelin 2021 a replacement of Formation Wedge?

But the Wedge sounds a lot better than Zeppelin in person
Well, you are not discussing the sound distribution of the two different enclosures. Zeppelin is more of a front placement speaker while the Wedge was designed to play well from a corner -- that's an important difference that I would have liked you to cover as well. I did hear you saying you haven't heard the Zeppelin play, so, only fair - otherwise good review. Cheers
I was looking for this exact information... Thank you...
Glad it helps.
I know which one is pleasing to the eye!
Which one to you? I have my own choice.
The wage sound musch and better bass responses then the zappling.
Interesting.
read up on B&W origins and principles, to keep it brief, their devices are very contextual, room size, placement, lots of variables that will impact your listening experience.
That being said, I personally find it frustrating how similar the two products are, it feels more like B&W reacted to the market once the Formation line felt like too much from the previous one speaker-does-it-all approach. It's overwhelming to see the many options you have but can't afford with a vast lineup, the Zeppelin series kept it simple, while the Formation line is a collectors' pipe dream, an unaffordable quest with zero practical application for the tiny apartments a vast majority of ppl live in. FFS, if you want Toslink or audio IN you need to buy a separate device on the Formation lineup!

Hello. Why do you prefer zeppelin?
