Tonight’s subject is “The Original Sin.” Undoubtedly you’ve heard time and again that it’s some sex violation. It hasn’t a thing to do with sex. It’s ancient, yes, but not a thing to do with sex. The Bible is a mystery. You can only understand it as it is revealed to you or believe it when you are told it by one to whom it has been revealed. It’s not a book that you just pick up and read as you would a novel. As we know, there are sixty-six books and you would start at taking Genesis and go through Revelation, and say that’s the way that it’s done. Because that’s not the way the Bible really is presented.
All the attributes of mind are personified in the Bible, and you and I take them as persons, and they’re not persons. All the characters are simply personifications of attributes of mind, eternal states of consciousness. So we must find out the first state that appeared in the Bible. What is that first state? For it is against that state which is the ideal that man has sinned.
Sin means “to miss the mark,” or I could disbelieve it or I am ignorant of it. And these are different levels of sinning: To know it and not to heed it is the most serious state; to hear of it and disbelieve it, that is a secondary state; never to have heard of it, that is not really a severe case. Yet all carry with it certain responsibilities. So we must search the Bible for this initial state that was presented to man. Man heard it but didn’t believe it; man heard it and believed it but didn’t quite find it; and man never heard of it.

We are again missing the mark. When you can't get what you truly desire in life, in other words we are failing to use the law which Neville emphasized for many years. In this world all is under our dominion. The power we have when exercised lovingly can give you what you desire after all everyone is your self pushed out rich or poor(these are all states that we become conscious of) . Let's not miss the mark but change our states to the states desired. Every state exist we just have to learn how to move to it with our imagination and feeling. I remember when.... that's where we begin to trigger that part of our mind which creates in our imagination.

RE: "Sin": Just a nuance on another's insightful response: Sin originally was in reference to shooting an arrow and missing the bullseye/target & thus "sinning". Once having "sinned", you pick up another arrow and try to do better next time, so is all about recognizing the mistake and perfecting both recognizing where the target is and then hitting it with better aim. Probably known & obvious to most of those following this chan, so guess this is for any newcomers. Cheers All. GREAT Reading Brian!

I feel like Adam represents the avatar. God breathed the breath of life into Adam--placing God's consciousness into Adam, occupying the avatar.
Eve represents the intuition inside the avatar. The intuition is a byproduct of the avatar and the appearing separation from the Source.
The original sin was Eve (the intuition) partaking in the "forbidden fruit" 🍎 in the simulation--believing the avatar was its limited self, and not God. Basically, the original sin is partaking in the illusion that this is true reality, disregarding the intuition. Because Adam's intuition was tricked, so was Adam.
Adam's intuition had been tricked and she (intuition) thus, made Adam fall too.
Then, BAM, the FALL into a life separated from Source.💥 Ignorance completely fell upon the avatars.
The Source will have to become known to find your way out of the simulation.
Because, the illusion had led the Source occupying the avatar, to be so convinced that he was NOTHING, limited, imperfect, ignorant, and stupid. Believing you are nothing, creates a simulation that represents this exact belief.
The problem is, we are still so convinced. 😔
Furthermore, in the simulation the intuition is ruled over by the avatar, because of survival.

All these lectures on sin, forgiveness and prayer, I noticed, do not even mention that famous statement ‘your own wonderful human imagination.’ These go far deeper and way beyond the superficial shimmery glassy attractiveness the lectures containing that statement draw audiences. indeed I noticed how fewer are the comments below this and the like. But it is this one and the like that really teaches the ‘tricks’ of how to get to be a life-like Genie
Indeed have heard a number of NG clips but this and the ones of like are truly a dream come true.
He gets the job because he is only a reflection of you. Individual in perception. One in body, one in spirit, one in truth. The other person is you. There can be no other way.

It's true. Sometimes I don't use my imagination lovely on behalf of the other and I paid the price for not doing so, emotionally. Thank you for reminding me to do what I know.
Can you help me understand? Neville teaches about reimagining anyone and everyone that is less than they want to be, like the poor, or someone who is sick- whether a friend or stranger.
If we see a beggar on the road, we don’t give them money, but instead pray for them by imagining and seeing them employed, safe, well? Can you help me understand?
@@ashleygifford7861 For many beggars it is a lifestyle for them, they prefer to live in that way. For others they really have gone through something and are starting from scratch. If you cannot or will not provide (through money or food, which is fine) but you want to "pray" for them, then you take the image of them in your mind (or look at them if it's not creepy) and imagine them receiving what they are asking for. I usually add to it the thought they do not need to be beggars anymore and there is a better and more noble way to live, and they will take the right opportunity that comes to them. Then let them go out of your mind.
The original sin i was born into is stepparent resentment and drowning anyone within reach in a panic. And Sibling rivalry . Those are the ones i conciously beoke patterns of. Theres more in the family that members intentionally stage ritualistically, and i realize it in time to sidestep it causing endings ror me. The biggest one is to make sure i have severed all ties to them so i don't have to do this again. As far letting the sky daddy take my power and punish me mildly or severely, thats not going to happen. As i found out today that he sacrificed all the vestal virgins and lassoed Vesta to embody. Buried us alive

lol...I love this man... also want to ragdoll him at times. Goddard befuddles with his emphatic rejection of all other Biblical Metaphor besides his own - though his PERSPECTIVE IS REVELATORY and seemingly quite TRUE. From his unique perspective - in that specific metaphor he has derived from the Bible, perhaps he is 100% correct that the Bible is not about people, but states. But one only needs to wade through the opening salvo in Genesis to show demonstrably, there is more than one TRUTH in this Oracle: It is Historical fact that a Planet was formed and Creatures placed upon it - providing a Canvas, a Stage: Without it, no personage could be developed, much less discerned. So at what arbitrary delineation point does the Bible jump off into this purely metaphoric Truth? As cohesive and insightful as Goddard's interpretation is of the Bible, it falls completely apart without recognizing the cacaphony of other apparent interpretations having EQUAL Truth. My best guess falls between Goddard being a CosmicSentinel sent to drive home a message that was singular in focus due to its importance(like the VMs), and him simply playing a coy game to entice us to fully understand the message from this PERSPECTIVE... | My main laptop runs Linux, but has 2 VirtualMachines running Windows7: One for Development, another for WindozeOnly apps. Now each of those machines would emphatically proclaim this laptop runs windows. The DevVM would emphatically proclaim this is a Development Laptop - the other would argue quite differently, in that this laptop only runs WindozeOnly apps. From their perspective, neither VM is incorrect, but the Laptop would offer quite the rebuttal from its holistic POV.

He gave hundreds of his and others examples. The family of Goddards build a financial empire on Barbados. He could be a part of it as well but he simply wasn’t interested in making money. He was safe financially thanks to his family and that was enough for him :)
This was all by design by God. He created us (we're His emanation..Eve, His beloved).
The Creater became His creation, in order to raise us up to His level. To make us into life giving spirits,, rather than animated bodies.

Who ever heard that original sin had to do with sex? 12 years of Catholic school and church but I literally never heard that. Original sin is the state you’re born in, but I’m so curious to know what people said about it with regards to sex.
Agreed,in scripture school we know it’s a result of unrest with the state of God, it was the division that started it all, and then perpetuated by breaching the 10 commandments in all the various ways. Is God himself not devious?
