Terrific summary!
Sad to hear that music mix repeated on the Hit and MMM networks, with no local call signs on those stations. Guess at 64yo, I am getting old, remember the buzz I got growing local announcers, the true localism of days that only really ended in the last decade. C’est La Vie, I guess.

​@@chrismac2405 Yes it's a pity. I call them the (s)hit and 'Triple Phlegm' networks. Localism can still be found on community radio and I almost exclusively listen to those stations.

Worked part time in commercial or community radio since 1985. Now a show at Yass FM 100.3. Great little station, most musical styles catered for, good local talk and Air News.

That 88.5 Edge FM TX is only on 100w in Cobram... WELL DONE! amazing catch and great to get the station ID too.
