와 멕시코 이민 7년차 한국인인데 미니님 채널에서 저에겐 친숙한 멕시코 캔디들을 보니까 반갑네요. 멕시코에선 저런 젤리나 캔디같은 거에 시고 매운 고춧가루(?) 맛을 넣는게 평범하고 흔한데 저도 맨처음 왔을때 당황했던 기억이 있네요 왜 단거에 맵고 시고 짠걸 섞을까 하며.. 근데 이젠 적응된 ㅋㅋ 저런거 뿐만 아니러 아이스크림도 고추맛 아이스크림이 있고 망고,배,수박 같은 과일에도, 슬러시나 음료수에도 고춧가루나 매운 소스 뿌려먹는 민족이랍니다.. 정말 흔해요

A lot of these candies are made with tamarind and spices to give it that sour flavor.. A seasoning called “tajin” (which is extremely delicious on mostly everything) is used on a lot of these candies. A sauce called “chamoy” made out of mostly fruit is what was in the salsagetti packet.
I love sour things and i wish i could try these 😩

미니님 사탕 asmr 너무 좋아요ㅠㅠ 사탕이랑 치아가 살짝 부딪혀서 나는 소리도 좋고 사탕 먹는 소리도 좋음. 과장되게 먹어서 소리내는게 아니라 담백하게 먹어서 사실적인 소리라 부담스럽지 않아서 계속 보게되요
I think the indescribable or weird taste you taste is tamarind. It's in a lot of Mexican candy. Though most tamarind candy is paired with chili, tajin, chamoy or citric acid so it doesnt taste exactly like tamarind.

I'm Mexican and I grew up with these it's nice to see how other people think when they first taste it!! Most of the spicy sour and sweet flavors r based around the fruit tamarindo which u can buy and eat it's self I hear Korea has a lot of sweet stuff in Mexico everything has spices in it🤣

The "pelon" and most candies have "Tamarindo, tajín, and spicy powder.I know this bc I'm Mexican and I love the candy and the American candy but I love the Mexican candy better.😋
Some candies have Marshmallow inside and chocolate in the outside like the " paleta de payaso".
I had never considered how odd the candy from my country can be for foreign people, I realize it's not common for other countries to have spicy and sour candy! It was especially eye opening to see you struggle a bit with the second candy you tried (Pelon), since I never realized until now how unintuitive the package is to figure out if you've never tried one before haha!
Edit: By the way, your reaction to seeing an innocent watermelon lollipop among all the weird spice, only to unwrap it to find it's also spicy had me on the floor 😅

The good thing is, that korean people do eat quite spicy. But here in Germany we don't and it would be hardly bearable to eat it (I tried pulparindo and it is tasty but spicy)

I’m not Mexican but I have seen other people eat Mexican food and they were basically crying bcs Mexican candys are kind of spice but you,you have support the little spice very good I think Korean food is spicer than Mexican food 😊
First one has a sour and salty and a little bit spicy powder on the outside, but once you start sucking the sucker more the inside is really sweet.
Second one is a kinda salty, a little less sour than the first one, spicy, and sweet. Its fun to eat and prolly my favorite one out of them all.
Also the spaghetti looking one with the sauce; it has a sweet sour and salty sauce with the “noodles” that are sweet and kinda taste like nothing. Also one of my favs

The powder to the candy sounds like tajin which is a sour kinda salty powder but I’m also not sure cuz we put different types of spicy powder/sauces onto our candy/fruit/food
I am from Poland and live in California and I love Mexican candies! Maybe because I like everything salty and sour 😁 My favorite is also cup of fresh fruit with lime juice and Tajin. So good on a hot day!
I’m Mexican and in California too but I love people from all over the world and especially from Poland. I sometimes make potato pancakes and eat them with sour cream though not so sure if it’s German or Polish because I’ve heard both. My friend is Mexican,And I believe I’ve seen some of these treats before! the second left one with the red top is extra familiar as I have seen it in my house.
It’s very common for Mexican food to be spicy…whether it’s desserts or main meals.
The flavor of the Lucas lolly pop and the candy noodles is actually "chamoy" flavor. I don´t know how exactly describe it but here´s google´s explanation: "Chamoy is a Mexican condiment made from dehydrated fruit, chili, salt, sugar and water, with a taste between sweet and acid. It is generally a powder dressing, but it is also used in liquid form".
