In contrast, Cebu Safari is very large, with over 170 hectares currently in use and still continuously expanding to its intended size of 300 hectares as they add more animal attractions in the coming months or years. As you have seen, most of the animals are not placed inside cages or in small enclosures. The animals are placed in large spaces so that they can move around freely, especially the African safari which is twice the size of the entire Manila Zoo. In comparison, Soobic Safari is only 25 hectares while Avilon Zoo is a measly 7.5 hectares which is equivalent only to the Orchidarium in Cebu Safari.
